meeting joe be john

avery woke up, ate breakfast, and then watched tv for 30 minutes. this was a part of her morning routine. very productive #goqueen. as she was watching tv, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. something... attractive... stunning... beautiful... adorable. intrigued, she approached her window. and that's where she saw...

HIM. the love of her life. tom holland. jk, twas a squirrel. side note: i'm gonna admit that tom holland is attractive. okay back to the story. but not just any other squirrel, no. this one had a certain air to him that made him very attractive. the way he nibbled on his food the way she did. the way he climbed trees and ran around. he was so graceful and adorable.

anyways, she felt the need to go out and talk to him. but she wasn't dumb, of course. she knew if she wanted to talk to him, she would have to lure him. (avery's a baddie, obvi).

she went into her kitchen, searching everywhere for something that might appeal to be appetizing for the squirrel. she finally found a bag of peanuts and scurried outside to face her future husband. she held out a peanut in her hand and slowly approached joe be john. that was the name she chose for him, by the way. joe be john looked at her curiously and ran up to her, with caution of course. he sniffed the peanut then retrieved it from her hand.

he made this face at her as he examined the peanut from all sides:

yes a squirrel can make that face because i said so this is a fan fiction get over yourself.

after realizing she was no threat, joe be john started nibbling down the peanut. he noticed her observing him in awe so he split the peanut in half and gave her a piece. they both continued nibbling down the peanut. avery laughed and smiled and did the double tuck thing (brooklyn 99 ref)

the squirrel looked her up and down with a tiny smirk on his face and then started walking away. she stood up, thinking she was going to lose him. then joe be john turned around and winked at her like this:

yes, squirrels can wink shut up.

avery sighed and waved goodbye to him. but only for now. she knew she would see him again. love would find a way...
