First impressions

Jessica's POV

The sound of the alarm woke me up.
I accidentally on purpose jerked the alarm on the floor & BAM, it was smashed.

"Shit" I cursed under my breath.

I groaned loudly while getting off the bed & heading towards the bathroom, ignoring the mess I left behind.

After the incredibly hot shower, I decided to wear my new clothes I bought for the road trip. Lillian texted me that she would pick me up after school & will return on Sunday morning.

"Jessica, Lillian is here" mum yelled from down stairs.

"Down in a minute" I yelled back, slipping into my black boots.

"Damn gurrll !!" Lillian said with a shocked expression.

I laughed.

"Hey, mum, we'll start the road trip after school. They'll come pick me up at the time I'm done packing"

"Okay, honey, have a great day at school"

Connor POV

Today, Jessica looked cuter than ever. I was freaked out when I found out that she was coming with us to the road trip. But on the bright side, maybe it was the right time to tell her how I really feel about her. I've had a crush on Jessica since ninth grade. When I saw her for the first time, her blonde hair sparkled in the bright sun & her baby blue eyes where shinning like stars. I guess, it was just love at first sight.

"Hey bro, what you staring at?" jack my best friend questioned me. He caught me staring at Jessica, talking to Lillian beside her locker. "You still into that chic, man?"

"You know I still am" I replied moving away and heading to class. I could hear jack's footsteps behind me. Then he stopped my tracks by standing in front of me.

"Did i say something wrong?" Jack looked at me with worried eyes.

"No, it's just.... I was planning to tell Jessica how i feel about her & I'm now nervous cause maybe she'll think I'm a creep stalker & she wouldn't want to talk to me or even look at me for the-" i was cut off by Jack covering my mouth with his hands.

"Hey hey hey. She won't think you're a creep stalker because you aren't going to tell her how you feel about her now. Just talk to her, try to be- friend her & then we'll see how it goes from that point" he said pulling away his hands. I guess he was right. I should probably stop what I'm doing.

"You're right. Now can you lecture me about that later? We'll be late for class" i said sarcastically. He laughed a little & stepped aside to continue our way to class.

Jessica's POV

I couldn't help but be excited. I mean it is my first road trip.

Lilly said that we'll camping halfway through our road trip, so I was extra excited since I've never been camping either.

After Lilly agreed that we meet after school at 6, I drove back home with questions & 'what - if's on my mind'.

I'm freaking out.

Even though I finished packing 2 hours ago & had nothing to worry about, I couldn't stop overthinking...

Stupid brain.

What if Lillian's friends are... picky?

And they come back...

"Hey! Hottie!" Lillian said.

"AAAH!" I screamed, "when the hell did you come here?!"

She doubled over laughing until her face became red & tears poured out of her eyes.

Some best friend I have.

After finally calming down, she said, "I came five minutes ago," she actually remembered my question... "now, lets go! Everyone's waiting outside, we don't want Connor waiting, do we?" She smirked.

After telling my mum goodbye & making sure everything is packed, I finally went outside.

Oh, dear...

All Lilly's friends looked rich.

Two guys whom I recognized as Jack & Jean stood against a red, sleek car. There was the third one, I just assumed that he's Connor.

And just like Lilly said, he's hotness itself.

He had these bluest eyes I've ever seen. He was tan & very tall (which is a major turn on). His pale hair contrasted with his blue eyes perfectly & with his leather jacket.

He looked at me & smirked.

I blushed & looked away. He just caught me checking him out...

I then realized he wasn't the only on who caught me. The whole group did. Including 2 girls I didn't know.

I wish I could dig a hole & crawl in it now.

What a very nice first impression.
