The News and shopping

"Road trip? Wait, where & with whom? I've really never been on a road trip" the words came rambled out of my mouth.

"One question at a time" she smiled "So we're going to the beach & camping in the woods"

"With?" I pressed on the letter Th.

"A couple of friends of mine, you know, Jack Hudson, Gina Ross, Jean Fritz, Anne William, & Connor Lynch"

"Connor who?"

Who was Connor? I know most of the people in the school but I've never heard of him before. Well, maybe I've seen him once or twice but I didn't care though.

"I know what's going on in this pretty mind of yours" she smirked & I giggled "Well, Connor is half shy & half nerd"

"I'm not really sure about that road trip....." I stopped in front of the class.

"C'mon Jessie. You haven't got out of your house in ages. Please, I'm beggin' you. Plus Connor is like the hotness itself" she smirked. I guess she was right after all, he was a bit cute. Though, I couldn't resist her puppy face.

"Fine. I'll go. But I need some new clothes for the trip & you're going with me shopping tonight. I mean, if you're okay with that" I said with a smile plastered on my face.

"OMG. Yess. Of course I'm going with you tonight. I'll pick you up at 8. Thank you thank you. I love you so much. You won't regret it. I'll see you later. Okay, love ya. Bye" she squealed before kissing me on the cheek & hurrying up to get to class. Maybe the trip won't be that bad. I wonder what will Connor be like.

"Good morning class. Open page number 54 of your text books & start reading" the teacher said while getting me out of my thoughts.

The song was being played while I was getting dressed, as Lillian was on her way to pick me up. I was rushing to get dressed, as it was 7:55. I wore ripped skinny jeans, Nirvana's shirt with black Converse & holding my Givenchy purse, which I've been literally obsessed with.

"Lillian is here. C'mon get your ass off & get down" my mum yelled while laughing.

I laughed & went running down the stairs. Lillian was wearing a white dress with a floral cardigan & black boots. God, she looked so hot.

"HEY...HOTTIE...JESSIE" greeted Lillian.

"Hey Lilo" I giggled "Gotta to go mum bye. Love ya. I'll be home around 9:30 or something"

The car ride was silent. Lillian broke the silence by saying "Hey! Open the radio" I giggled & turned on the radio. 'Right now' by One Direction was being played on the radio. A huge grin appeared on my face. Yeah I'm a big fan of 1D.

"So where are we gonna go?" asked Lillian while driving.

"Maybe we should go to Hollywood & Highland?" I asked.

"Yeah. Damn. Hottie. We should probably go & get drinks from Starbucks there & go for shopping maybe in American Eagle Outfitters" she said while getting out of her passenger's seat.

"Sounds good" I smiled.

We walked through the mall when we finally reached Starbucks.

"Finally" sighed Lillian.

I giggled at her. "Go & have a seat. So what will you drink?" I asked

"Yeah, alright. I want a Caramel Frappuccino blended coffee" she said while going to have a seat.

"Okay just wait here & I'll go & get 'em"

I went to the cashier. There were a lot of people standing in the line, so this would take much time. Standing in a crowd of people sucks. Aghh.

Finally after spending 15 minutes waiting, I got our drinks & went to have a seat beside Lillian.

"Hey there" she smiled.

"Hey" I sighed tiredly.

"Thank you" she smiled while i was handing her her drink.

"Welcome Lilo" I smiled

As soon as we finished our drinks, we got out of Starbucks heading to American Eagle Outfitters. As we reached there something grabbed my attention which was actually a tribal crop shirt which looked incredibly amazing. I ran & grabbed it & walked back to Lillian to show her the shirt.

"OMG! This is perfect. It suits you. You should probably find a high waisted short" she squealed excitedly.

"OMG really?" I started blankly.

"HOTTIE... I think so that you're going to look incredibly amazing in the road trip" she giggled.

I giggled & went with her to find a high waisted short. After spending 20 minutes in American Eagle Outfitters it was almost 9 & we had to go home.

On our way back, thoughts of Connor drifted into my mind.

"So, about this Connor guy, tell me about him"

"OH GOSH, you're totally into him & you haven't even met him yet!!" She squealed throwing her hands in the air.

"Could you just shut up & focus on the road before getting us into an accident" I said holding a smile that was dying to come out.

"Well, Connor is a Junior. He's 17. He actually has got all A's just like you. He kinda has got social anxiety, so his friends will take him with us to.. Like .. Start cracking his shell up" she said pulling up in front of my house.

"So, I was hoping that you" she continued "could like get him out of his shell & get to know him better. He's really such a nice guy."

"Fine, I guess it wouldn't hurt to do so" I said unbuckling the seat belt & getting out of the car. "Text me the details of this road trip tomorrow. Good night"

"Nightz bæ" she replied while turning on the engine & driving off.

"So, how did the shopping go?" Mum asked as I locked the front door.

"It was pretty good actually. Anyway, mum, I'm so tired & I've got school tomorrow so if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go to bed" I lied. I wasn't tired but I just couldn't deal with mum wowing my new clothes & trying to convince me to try them on in such a late hour.

"Okay honey, suit yourself. Good night" she seemed disappointed.

"Night, mum" I mumbled loud enough for her to hear.

Once I reached my room, I threw the shopping bags on the floor. Then i went to the bathroom to wipe off my makeup, brush my teeth & changing into my comfy pajamas & hopped into bed. I've got a long day tomorrow & I should probably get my beauty sleep peacefully tonight.
