"He's mine not yours, Jess"

"Thanks for the ride, Jack" I said politely jumping off the car.

"You're welcome."

"Wait, I'll walk you to the door" Connor said stutterdly.

"You don't really have to, I can walk by myself"

"But I want to" he insisted

Aahh.The things I do for him.

"Okay, fine" I chuckled.

We walked side by side, shoulders barely touching. Each time his shoulder touched mine, I don't know why, but I felt fire sparkling inside my body.

"So....." he started as we reached the front door "I really had such a great time"

"Yeah, me too" I smiled.

"Co-ould I get your n-umber? I mean...since we are friends. No, I mean if you want to" he stutterd

He looked so adorable.

"Sure, yeah. Here, type your number down" I handed him my phone.

"Well I'll see you later" he said leaning in. Oh My God! Is he gonna kiss me? Then he pecked me on the cheek long enough to make my heart flutter.

Beep Beep Beep

"COMING" he yelled " Good night cuppucake."

"Night, handsome"

I watched him getting into the car and driving away until they disappeared out of sight.

"Hi momma" I said hugging her in a tight embrace "Mum-can't-breathe"

" Sorry honey, I just missed you so much"

"Missed you too" I smiled

"So, who was that young fella who kissed you on the front porch?" she smirked.

Oh boy.

I know where will this conversation head to, and it's not gon' end well.

"That's Connor, my friend.Only friend.There's nothing between us, and I also need to sleep cause I haven't had much in the past 2 days."

"You're trying to sneak out of it, aren't you?" she grinned raising an eyebrow.

"No.I'm not" I lied. I am sneaking out of it "Good night"

"Night, sweetheart."

I kept tossing around the bed. I coudn't get this kiss out of my head. It felt so real and safe. If I felt like that when he kissed me on the cheek, then what would happen if he kissed me on the lips? God!

I need to stop thinking about things that are obviously impossible to happen.

How could you do so when you can't stop bitching about him every 10 seconds?

Okay, fine.....Maybe I like him, just a little.

God dammit. I hate the feeling of love but it made me feel so alive.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you, Lillian called and said she won't be able to come pick you up."

" Then who's going to?"

" I don't know, she also said it's a surprise" she paused for a minute and a huge grin started growing "Maybe it's that Connor guy you like"
