My world came crashing down

I woke up today with red and puffy eyes from crying last night, i cringed just thinking of it and i started tearing up again but i said to myself 'Jessie he's not worth it just forget about him like you never knew him and move on just like you moved on from daddy' oh daddy where are you to make me feel better even as a little kid you would make everything better even if it's just a scratch but now it's my heart breaking and you are not here anymore to fix it.

I got dressed and ready for the first day of school after the spring break what a great timing, i wasn't in the mood for any make up or breakfast so i just washed my teeth and face then went down to my mom, i honestly wasn't in the mood for her questions,

"Morning jessie" my mom said cheerfully

"Morning mom" i mumbled rolling my eyes,don't get me wrong or anything i love my mom but she is just way too happy at the wrong times.

"Do you feel any better?" she asked smiling

"Does it look like it...?" I gave her attitude "sorry mom its just that i even had a fight with Lillian last night" i said tearing up again.

"Why honey, what happened?" She asked.

After I explained everything that happened she asked:

"Then who's going to take you to school?"

"Shit!" I mumbled under my breath face pluming myself.

"I guess I'm going to have a walk today" I sighed.

"Okay but take care sweetheart" she said with concern written all over her face.

I grabbed my phone, school bag & house keys and went outside to start my journey to hell hole I go to even thought it's just a five minutes walk.

While I was walking I passed by a group of boys that were clearly high, what scared me was that one of the boys grabbed my arm and pulled me to them this can never be good, they pushed me between the buildings where no one can be seen, I tried getting away but they even held me tighter.

"Where do you think you are going hottie...?" One of the boys said with his breath that reeked from alcohol.

CONNOR'S POV

I was standing at the school gate waiting for Jessie to arrive, when Lillian's car arrived my heart started beating against my chest so hard that I can hear it but when Lillian came out of the car, I started getting suspicious.

"Where is Jessie?" I asked Lillian with my concern clearly written on my face.

"I don't know we fought yesterday so I didn't pick her up, why didn't she come yet?" She frowned her eyebrows.

"No..., wait a second that means that she went walking & she would have been here a long time ago... I got to go, see ya..." I said running towards Jessica's street which was very near to the school.

When I was walking by the buildings, I heard Jessica shouting & screaming so I went speeding to the place where I heard her voice.

JESSICA'S POV

I kept on shouting and screaming for someone to come & help me until I found Connor running towards me.

"Back off you assholes" he shouted punching the one holding me while pushing off the other two.

"Ok ok bro we were just trying to have some fun. We didn't know she was your girl" one of them said taking the other two and leaving.

Him saying 'YOUR GIRL' made me even madder remembering what happened again while everything was replaying in my head.
