Chapter 2 - the start of the plan

Valentine's pov

I left the abandoned house. I made my way to Magnus's place. It was a short walk, about 26 min from Azazel's abandoned house. When I got there, I put '' my'' coat on a hanger and went up to his room. I opened the clothes drawers and exclaimed in disgust. '' wow this warlock has a terrible sense in fashion'' I muttered. I decided to wear a pale purple t-shirt and black normal looking trousers. Much better I thought I folded '' my'' other clothes and put them into the top drawer. I went back downstairs and then Magnus's phone rang, I took it out from ''my'' pocket and looked at the screen. Its Alec great ok, you can do this just remember you are doing this for the cup, I thought I answered the call. '' hey Alexander, what do you need?'' I said.'' Actually I don't need anything I was just wondering if I could come over for date night, today rather than tomorrow?'' Said the other Shadowhunter. '' yeah sure, when do you want to come over''? I asked.'' Ur I about 5 min'' Alec. '' Ok I'm looking forward to it, see you in 5'' I said. '' ok thanks bye baby '' said Alec.'' bye'' I said I ended the call. Crap crap ok don't panic I need a plan fast I know, I thought I quickly grabbed an knife from the kitchen, I slashed the side of my forehead, and my left arm. I then ran back to the kitchen and put it away and came back to the living room and laid down, slowed down my breathing and closed my eyes. I heard the front door open and Alec's voice.

'' babe  I'm here where are''... he broke off when he saw me on the floor. '' oh my Angel Magnus what happened''? Wake up'' he gently patted my arm. '' Ur my head is killing me'' I said opening my eyes. I saw Alec kneeling beside me I sat up. '' Magnus are you ok''? Do you remember what happened''? '' Ur yeah some circle members came here they demanded to know where the cup is I said I don't know so they beat me'' I lied. '' oh hon that's terrible let's get you to the sofa, can you stand''? Asked Alec. '' I think so '' I said I slowly stood up and I took a step forward and my world tilted. '' whoa, easy there I only said can you stand not walk to the other end of the room'' said Alec steading me, and he cracked a smile. '' sorry'' I Said. I smiled back. ''it's fine but as your boyfriend I have certain responsibilities like taking care of you when you feel dizzy or sick. '' said Alec. '' ok'' I said. He put one arm around my waist and helped me to the sofa. '' if there is anything you need just ask'' said Alec. '' ok thanks sorry for ruining our date night'' I said '' don't apologise I'm just glad that you are ok'' said Alec.

'' thanks for understanding baby'' I said. '' No problem '' said Alec smiling again. Suddenly I felt guilty. ''Ur hon we could still watch a movie together if you want''? I said. '' Are you sure you're up for it''? asked Alec. '' yeah sit down let's not ruin our date night just because I feel weak'' I replied. '' ok I go and get the popcorn and wine then'' said Alec. '' ok'' I replied, I magically put a DVD on and paused It. m I'm getting better at using his magic I though, Alec came back with the popcorn and wine, he put them on the table and sat down. I spread the blanket that I conjured [which by the way was white] in-between us. ''wine?'' asked Alec '' thanks'' I said taking the glass form him. I pressed play and the random movie started. Alec reaches for my hand, I don't let go even though I'm tempted. We watched the movie for the next 20min. '' can you pass me the popcorn'' said Alec. '' yeah'' I said. I leaned forward and passed him the bowl. '' thanks'' said Alec, he snuggled into my chest. I tried not to finch. We munched on the popcorn and we finished the movie at ten.

''Well that was interesting '' commented Alec as the closing credits rolled along the TV screen. '' yeah I'm quite tired, so I'm going to bed'' I said. '' ok I be there in a min I'm just goanna put the glasses and bowl away'' said Alec. '' ok see you in a min'' I said. I got up from the sofa and went upstairs to Magnus's and Alec's room I took off ''my'' t shirt and trousers off and climbed into bed with ''my'' phone. Right on point ''my'' phone rang I answered it. '' so how is the plan going?'' asked Azazel''. '' so far so good, so what is the next stage of the plan''?'' I replied. '' the plan for tomorrow is you will go to the institute and find more info about where the cup is, and kill some demons with them and then you will go into a dark alley and pretend to get knocked out again'' said Azazel.'' ok but why do I have to keep worrying Alec?'' I asked. '' Because the more worried Alec is the more of a chance we have of finding the cup'' said Azazel. '' oh ok, I got to go Alec's coming'' I said. '' Ok till next time remember the plan'' said Azazel. ''yeah I will, bye'' I said. I ended the call just as the door opened.

'' hey baby'' I said. '' Hey'' said Alec coming inside and closing the door. '' so are we going straight to bed or...'' said Alec. '' Ur I think toady we will go straight to bed because I'm extremely tried'' I said. Phew dodged the bullet there, I got to come up with more excuses in the future. '' ok that's fine, baby'' said Alec taking his shirt off as well, and climbed into bed next to me, I put Magnus's phone in the dressing table and said '' goodnight''. '' Goodnight baby'' Alec said. I magically turned off the lights and felt Alec's hands wrap around my waist. I sighed this is going to be a long night, I thought as I fell asleep...
