Valentine's pov

I woke up and for a second I didn't know where I was. But then I remembered. Right I'm pretending to be Magnus to get the cup, I turned on my other side to see the time 7am. Great, I then rolled on my back and realised that Alec's hand was holding mine and his other arm was still wrapped around my waist. Great just great I thought. I carefully detached myself from Alec but not carefully enough, because he woke up.'' Mag's where are you going?'' Said Alec. Crap I thought. ''Oh sorry baby did I wake you''? '' no, baby don't worry I had to wake up anyway, so where are you going''? He repeated.

'' Ur I was just going to the bathroom'' I said. ''Ok'' said Alec. I went out of the room and located the bathroom. When I located it. I magically made Magnus's clothes appear. I dressed in a white t-shirt a purple jacket with roses and black jeans and black boots I conjured a couple of rings and put them on and two bracelets just to be on the safe side, I also conjured '' my'' phone I put it into ''my'' jacket pocket. Then went out of the bathroom back to Magnus's and Alec's room. Alec was sitting on ''our'' bed in a towel and he was putting on his trousers.

'' oh baby you look amazing'' he said. '' thanks'' I said. ''listen, I was wondering maybe I can come to the institute with you to help you hunt some demons, unless of course you don't want my help'' I said putting my coat on. '' no babe of course you can, your help is always needed'' said Alec smiling.'' well that's good to hear'' I said smiling back.30min later we left for the institute.

When we got there Izzy and Clarissa were in the monitor room. '' hey guys do we have any demons to hunt''? I asked. '' Magnus long time no see, and we got ten demons that need killing'' said Izzy. '' ok let's go and kill them'' said Alec. ''do you know their exact location''? I asked. ''yeah Izzy memorised it'' said Clarissa. '' then let's go'' I said and we went out of the institute.

We followed Izzy to the exact location of the demons. When we go there it turned out to be a shacks demon and its followers which were little demons that spit fire balls as Izzy found out. '' Izzy watch out''! I shouted and used Magnus's magic to destroy the demon and its fire ball. ''thanks Mag's'' said Izzy. '' you're welcome'' I said. '' Ur where is Jace when you need him'' muttered Alec under his breath. '' guys come here we need a plan'' said Clarissa. I and Alec went over to Clarissa and Izzy. ''so does anyone have any brilliant idea's''. Said Alec. '' well I have an idea'' I said as I made a shield with my magic to cover us as the demons stared to throw fire in our direction. '' thanks Mag's, again'' said Izzy. '' Alec your boyfriend is amazing '' stated Clarissa. Alec smiled I laughed. I can't believe I'm being called amazing by my daughter, I thought. ''so the plan... I said changing the topic. ''I think Izzy you and Clary can distract the demon's while I use my magic to shield Alexander while he kills the bigger one'' They all agreed, and the next 10min was a blur with fire shots, shouting, and screaming the next thing I know it's over and we are heading back to the institute. When we got there we went straight to the monitor room. For the rest of the morning is a blur same thing over again and again reading about the demon and then killing it. At 12.00, Alec sent me to ''my'' apartment to go and rest. So I do, 2 hours later I get a call from Alec saying that he booked a reservation at a restaurant. So I grab '' my'' coat and leave the apartment and as I am going to the restaurant. I turn into a dark alleyway and keeping Azazel's plan in my mind, I called Alec. He answered on the first ring. ''hey baby, what do you need''? '' Hey baby , I'm just hunting down a demon so I might be a bit late for our date, have you left the institute yet''? I asked. '' no not yet, its fine don't worry I can wait'' Said Alec. I made a loud bang noise with ''my'' magic and stayed silent ''Magnus hello, baby answer me, where are you? Are you ok? Magnus!'' said Alec. I heard panic in his voice. ''babe... I've been shot, come and help me'' I said in a small voice. ''What how Magnus, hello are you there''!? Said Alec. I hung up on him. I'm such a good actor I thought.

Right now I have to cast a strong glamor I thought. I lay down on the ground slowed down my breathing, I then turned Magnus's magic on, stretched out my hand over my stomach and started working on my glamor, as the blue sparks spread around me I felt so proud of myself. When the sparks disappeared my t-shirt was drenched in ''blood'' and I felt a fake shot wound on my chest there was ''blood'' all around me. Wow I'm good, Alec is going to have a heart attack. I thought and I closed my eyes . ( yeah this is what i meant wheni said it was cringey sorry - it really does get better )
