Tangent: Act I
The scene opened up to reveal Qrow still dressed in the same gray suit from the last viewing. He was sitting at a bench next to some vending machines with a can of coffee in his hands as he anxiously bounced his leg.
"Canned coffee? That looks absolutely horrendous." Ozpin commented.
"What is with you and coffee, Ozma?" Salem asked. "I've known you for years and something as mundane as this still baffles me to this day."
"Japan is very well known for having ready to go snacks around every corner. Some are more hit or miss than others." Oracle responded. "You'd be surprised at how good some of them are. I'll have to introduce you to some during our first intermission."
"If you speak so highly of it, then they must have some worth." Ozpin noted.
"I can't imagine walking into a vending machine every five steps in Menagerie." Blake said.
"vending machine?" Weiss asked.
"Yeah, a vending machine. You know, Fountain Dew cans and wrapped Slickers bars. Weiss...have you never heard of a vending machine before?" Yang asked perplexed.
She merely blushed in embarrassment, "I've...lead a really sheltered life." She admitted.
"Aw Weiss, don't worry. After this we can give you your first ever, super awesome, vending machine experience!" Ruby said before throwing her arms around her.
"She makes it sound more exciting than it really is." Ren said.
Instead of rejecting the physical contact, she merely gave a genuine smile at the remark.
"Thank you Ruby, I'd like that very much."
"Tai, why didn't you tell me our little girl made such adorable friends." Summer gushed.
