After Oracles ominous message, the lights dimmed before the screen turned on.
INFESTATION
The viewing began from a first person perspective shot as the viewer followed behind a large man covered from head to toe in heavy body armor. The heavy stomps and clinking of metallic gear was the only sound made as the duo marched through a now decrepit and abandoned subway car.
"First person, sweet. It's just like a video game!" Jaune exclaimed.
"Different perspective this time? Who's helmet cam are we viewing this footage from?" Goodwitch asked.
"A lowly grunt given the callsign Echo-1, the bigger man in front of him is a charger given the designation Wallhammer." Oracle answered.
Coco whistled before lowering her shades to get a better view. "Hot damn that is a big dude. He might even have you beat in the height department, Yatsuhashi."
He gave a low chuckle in response. "Maybe I'll let him have it. Being the tallest in the room isn't always all that it's made out to be."
Neo pouted at him before holding up a sign saying, "That's not fair. I wish I was taller."
Roman pulled her in before rubbing her head. "Oh calm down you little gremlin. You're adorable just the way you are."
Neo frowned at him. He knew calling her adorable often got a rise out of her, but she shoved that thought aside before clinging back onto him.
"Never thought about equipping some of our units with larger protective gear. It could help quell some of the riots in Mantle, not that there's been too many in recent history." Ironwood noted.
"Yeah? Sounds like a good idea general. How many men you got that meet the height and weight requirement for gear like that?" Junior asked rhetorically.
As the pair marched through the first train car a heavily filtered and synthesized voice spoke out through the viewers radio.
"Overwatch is confirming sector lockdown. All units advisory, prepare for contact. Keep sightlines open and sound on." The voice spoke as the camera tilted down to the gun in hand.
