ESCAPE FROM TARKOV: RAID - PART 4
The viewing faded back to Skif and Voron as the muffled ringing slowly went away. The gunfire returned to its normal volume as the USEC team pushed into the locker room, laying down heavy suppressive fire. The shotgunner turned the corner to the rows of lockers and blasted Barmaley as he attempted to reload his AK, finishing him for good.
Velvet flinched. "He didn't even give him a chance..."
"Welp." Mercury said in finality. "Not like he was gonna do much anyway."
Weiss rolled her eyes. "Would it kill you to show a little bit of tact?"
Pieces of ceramic tile broke off as the bullets impacted the nearby walls, and the slumped over forms of Skif and Voron could be seen slowly coming to.
"They both survived the grenade?" Cinder asked with skepticism. "I find that highly unlikely."
"That's great. I'm certainly not complaining." Qrow said before frowning. "But how exactly are these two gonna get out of this?"
"It does look like a pretty sticky situation for them." Yang agreed.
Skif looked up, realizing he was still alive before his eyes frantically searched for the nearest weapon. His sights finally settled on an AK rifle most likely dropped from a USEC operator, just out of reach.
"He has a chance..." Ruby breathed out.
He tried to grab for it but unfortunately the bodies nearby didn't give him much room to move. Quickly noticing that the enemy USEC would soon be on top of them, Skif glanced around for anything that could help.
Looking to his left, he spotted his saving grace. The dead USEC next to him had an unopened grenade pouch! Skif ripped the velcro cover off and pulled out the frag. As this happened, one of the USEC tapped his teammate, notifying him to move up.
