"These universes are seriously starting to depress me." Said Weiss. "Can we look at something more...I don't know...more nicer?"
"I'll have to agree with Weiss on this one." Spoke up Summer. "Not every universe can be as bad as these ones right?"
"Hmm. I suppose you're right..." Oracle appeared to be in thought. As much as an orb of light can appear as such. "These viewings have been dragging the mood down. I promise, Ms. Rose and Ms. Schnee, I'll see to it that at least the next viewings are much more lighthearted."
Weiss gave a small satisfied smile at the response while Summer beamed back. "That's all I ask Oracle, thank you."
Yang nudged her teammate with her elbow. "Wow Weiss, looks like the goody two shoes act can convince Gods to bend to your will."
"I think I'm just naturally more charming than you are." She replied with a smirk. The buxom blonde could only sputter indignantly in response.
"The viewing will begin momentarily. Prepare yourselves."
The theater dimmed once more.
PROTECTORS
The sounds of casual footsteps can be heard as the scene opened up to a scanner in a box. It lit up and beeped for a moment before shutting down again.
The view cut to black again before voices could be heard speaking.
"Anyone else pick up a 647-E reading?" Spoke a very military like voice as his radio bleeped.
Another radio filtered voice spoke up in response. "Copy. Possible 647-E. Alert tag units."
"Roger that. Got a possible 647-E here, request stabilization team for tag."
"A 647-E?" Asked Winter. "I've never heard of such a code." She thought trying to remember all the codes that Atlas soldiers would commonly use.
"In this universe, a code 647-E means air watch or surveillance reports a miscount." Oracle informed. "In this case the resistance is unaware that one of the Combines scanners had activated in the middle of their base."
Adam frowned. "They brought enemy tech with them into their base of operations? How amateur can they be?"
"We smuggle gear and supplies from Atlas convoys into our bases all the time." Ilia said not noticing the stink eye the Atlesians in the room gave her. "I don't see how its any different from us."
