*Just a heads up, this reaction will be split into 5 parts, closely following the episodic release of the series as a guide. Though for the sake of more context and a better viewing experience, the combined film version will be used. At the beginning of each new chapter will be a timestamp of when we start and when we stop. Please follow those as to not get lost and don't forget to turn on closed captions.*

Also, I shouldn't need to say this, but regardless of what is happening in the real world, let's remember that Tarkov is a fictional video game world. This film was only made to promote it, tell a dramatic story while expanding its lore, and also disclose how bad war is. Let's be civil.

ESCAPE FROM TARKOV: RAID - PART 1

The viewing started off with a glitchy screen. In the bottom right corner displayed ARRS, Automated Radio Relay Service, 14 - 4 KORD. The terminal was under surveillance as a new string of text was displayed, and an accompanying male voice reading the words as they came.

"In 2015, TerraGroup international corporation deployed its production facilities in the new free economic zone in the Norvinsk region. When TerraGroup laboratories in Tarkov were inspected, representatives of the authorities were forcibly confronted by the private military company, USEC."

"TerraGroup, they're the ones responsible for all this?" Qrow asked. "What exactly are they?"

"TerraGroup is a transnational holding company whose subsidiaries engage in a wide range of activities. It incorporates over 40 large enterprises, all represented by branch offices in over 120 countries of the world, that's where the group fits in their name." Oracle explained.

Winter sighed "Sounds like a major enterprise father would have a hand in."

"That's a lot of boring desk jobs." Yang said. The blonde could never imagine herself as anything but a huntress.

"They don't sound too evil. What exactly could they have done to warrant an investigation?" Blake asked.

"The free economic zone mentioned earlier allowed many companies to operate without the restriction of red tape, the bane of most mega-corporations. Many companies involved with TerraGroup were specifically designed to lead investigators towards dead ends, should any attempt to snoop around and follow paper trails. These two in combination make for a good way to hide more... legally questionable work." Oracle answered, not yet giving away TerraGroups more illicit activities.
