In the locker room Hakeem's team rejoiced in their victory. All of the helmets were scattered around the locker room as Hakeem and his assistant coach Jamal walked in behind the team. Some of the teammates were doing some victory dances that consisted of the stanky leg and the catdaddy.

"Alright alright guys enough of that" Hakeem waved at them to stop for a moment but with a smile.

All of the teammates took a seat on the wooden benches that were in front of their lockers as Hakeem and Jamal stood in the middle of the floor in front of them.

"Good game guys i knew you guys can do it, although i was a bit skeptical at first in the first quarter because it almost seem like you were intimated by the other team"

"Michael wonderful interception proud if you man" Hakeem smiled and pointed at a boy with shaggy brown hair with a huge grin on his face.

"No problem coach" he responded back to Hakeem.

"And Greg good job blocking so Smith could get through and score that touchdown"

The two boys gave each other a pound of their fist with huge grins on their faces.

"Overall great game, now next weeks away game the team is tough so be ready" he gave them all a serious look because he knows their potential but knows they need to work even harder for the next game.

"Also Josh you are back on the field but next time you get in a fight you will sit out for the next two games got it?" Hakeem gave him a warning look and josh gulped but nodded his head.

"And that goes for everyone you hear me?" he said as he looked around the room at each player making sure they heard him clearly.

"Yes sir!" all of the players said in unison.

"Good now Indians on three" Hakeem smiled putting his hand out all the others gathered into a huddle with all hands in.

"1-2-3 INDIANS" everyone yelled as their hands lifted after three.

Sitting at their favorite Chinese restaurant Emily and her friend Krista sat at a table waiting on their drink order to come. Emily loved hanging out with her friend Krista for some much needed girl time. They have been friends since middle when Krista moved to the area from Greensboro, North Carolina. It was a sudden change for Krista moving up north because she wasn't use to the cold.

Seeing a young Krista shiver from the cold during the winter season in middle school gave little Emily courage to approach the little girl with the gift of gloves and a scarf. Emily had plenty at home because her parents always bought a new pair each winter. Krista was truly grateful to have someone she didn't know care about her well-being. Krista's family were still adjusting to the weird Ohio weather and didn't have time to get all of the proper attire. After the exchange of the gloves and scarf Emily and Krista knew they had a budding friendship that would last a long time.

"So how have you been girl?" Krista asked as she scanned the menu to look for what she wanted to order.

"I've been good girl just trying to get these students on the right path especially these seniors" Emily said as she scanned the entree section of the menu.

"I bet that is tough but i know you will be fine girl" Krista said as she put her menu down on the table knowing what she wanted to order.

"Yeah I know, but i did have to have a talk with the schools football coach though" she said while biting her lower lip slightly not sure why she brought that up with her friend.

"Oh really? What did you have to talk to him about?" Krista asked with her manicured arched eyebrow raised and a grin on her face.

"Just one of his players got in a fight at school and some of the others on the team isn't taking their schooling seriously since a couple are seniors" Emily shrugged.

"Is he cute?"

"Who? One of the players? Krista you know better" Emily teased her friend.

"Girl you know damn well I was talking about the coach Em, so is he cute or what? and what's his name?" Krista gave her friend a "girl stop playing look".

"Yes he is cute and his name is Hakeem Reynolds" Emily sighed but grew warm just saying his name. Images of Hakeem flooded into her mind for the thousandth time today, but she shook those thoughts away to gain composure again.

"Hakeem? Hmm.... describe him" Krista teased as she pursed her lips thinking that she needed more info on this Hakeem guy to really say if he was cute or not.

Emily was just about to describe what Hakeem looked like when their waiter returned back to their table. The young waiter looked to be in his early twenties with pale skin and shaggy brown hair.

"All ready to order?" the waiter asked as he got out the tickets that had their drink order on it.

"Yes I will have the sesame chicken with fried rice and a egg roll with that sweet and sour dipping sauce that goes with it, and can i have extra sauce to go over my rice?" Krista said as she placed her order and picked up her menu for the waiter to take away.

"Yes I can have that done for you and for you miss?" the waiter asked Emily.

"I would like the orange chicken over white rice with an egg roll as well and the dipping sauce too" Emily said as she closed her menu to hand to the waiter.

"Alright I will place your orders and it should be ready soon" the waiter smiled as he took the menus away and headed toward the kitchens.

"So what is this "Hakeem" guy like?" Krista asked again before taking a sip of her apple martini.

"Well...he's tall dark and handsome" Emily said while being vague but knows Krista will ask her to elaborate.

"Ok go on"

"He looks to be 6'2", athletic build, smooth brown skin, beautiful white smile, velvet deep voice..." Emily said but stopped and felt a shiver go through her body just thinking about his voice.

"Oooh girl i think someone has a crush on Mr. Hakeem"

"No you just told me to describe him and i did" Emily brushed off the statement.

"Well if you don't want him I'll take him girl he can have him some Krista" she teased while doing a little dance in her chair.

"Girl you are a mess" Emily laughed at her friends' confidence.

"But i won't go after him because i know you like him deep down inside it's cool you don't have to admit it now but you will later"

"Yeah sure girl" Emily waved off the statement just as their food arrived.

Emily did feel she was starting to develop a minor crush on Hakeem but knew it will pass. She was cute in all but probably not his type. Although it would be great to be with a guy like him but she hardly knew him and probably won't because she wanted to keep things professional between them. She knew the best way to do that would be to avoid him at all costs or keep conversations to a minimum. Liking her thought she changed the subject to something different to catch up with what was going on in each other's lives and enjoyed the delicious Chinese food they ordered.
