ReV: Carribean Holiday

"I hate it here!" Zhao Kai's head popped out of the water with a splash, spraying the glistening water at his younger brother who yelped in surprise.

"Uwah!" Zhao Hii visibly flinched, his shiny tong flying out of his grasp. "Holy cow I thought you were a seal!" He laughed, retrieving his tool from the debris-filled beach. "Seriously, that wetsuit cap makes you look like one."

Hii patted his brother's head, earning a small snarl from his brother.

"Whatever." Kai rolled his eyes, pushing himself out of the trash infested waters and onto the small wooden dock Hii sat on. "It's not my fault my ears are sensitive. And also, I had plans to come to the Caribbean for a holiday. Not some 5-day beach clean-up intensive." He huffed. "Seriously, the HQ has to give us some heads up next time."

They were on day 3 of their 5 day's work and Kai was still complaining. Hii laughed at his brother, knowing full well that the HQ had given them a heads up and his brother wasn't listening. Instead, Kai was dreaming fantasies about his boyfriend in the corner of the meeting room.

The HQ had sent the pair to the Caribbean for 7 days in total, 5 for the beach clean-up in collaboration with the World Wide Beach Organization. Hii wasn't too sure about the reasons why the HQ wanted this collaboration to happen in the first place as they were usually done to strengthen or make bonds with another corporation. But he wouldn't question the higher up's decisions.

"Don't be such a spoilt sport, Kai. C'mon! Just two more days to go then it's fun in the sun, if we manage to clean all this up. At the rate we're going now, I'd say that we'd be done by deadline." Hii shrugged, seizing a flattened tin with his tongs and tossing it into the green trash bag that was three-quarters full.

Kai shook the non-existent water out of his slick hooded head and got back into the tepid water. "I'll be back." He dived back down into the depths of the now only semi-polluted waters with his trash net.

Hii only smiled, rolling his eyes and continued to round up the waste in his fat green bag.

"Did you just post that ugly picture of me on your Instagram?" Kai scrambled out of his crispy hotel sheets and shoved his phone in his brother's face.

"Get your phone out of my face! And turn your brightness down for the love of the world, just like Ma, trying to blind me in the middle of the night. Gosh." Hii pulled the covers over his head, chuckling lightly. "I made sure Fu and Li Daiyu had the chance to see you ugly."

"Such an unpleasant human you are, idiot." Kai punched his brother's form with no real force behind it.

"I got it from you." Hii laughed, a very contagious wheezing laugh.

"Ugh. Whatever, goodnight." Kai rolled his eyes.

"Goodnight."
