He pushed me against the door as my lower lip was trapped between his teeth. A soft moan slipped from my tongue and I felt his lips turning into a small smirk. He pulled away trying to catch his breath as we were both out of it. I couldn't help but smile at the realization of what was happening.
"That was-", his eyes seemed lost inside mine, and oh how beautiful his eyes are.
"Julie, I found it.", a voice yelled and thankfully it was still far, giving me and Luke enough time to get away from each other.
The door opened abruptly, revealing Reggie's figure. I tried to look as normal as possible since I still felt the possible marks on my neck, burning along with the rest of my face.
"Oh, hey Luke.", he turned his attention to his brother. Luke's eyes lingered between me and Reggie, confusion filling them.
"Sup?", he simply asked instead, a hint of suspicion masking his words. His posture seemed more relaxed now.
"Where's your mother?", I questioned since he yelled my name two seconds ago. I've almost forgot about him, or the actual reason I'm still here.
"Oh, she left, don't know where she headed but you've got to come with me now.", he tried to cover the serious tone, with a smile but unconsciously I furrowed my eyebrows, "Trust me."
He left the room with a nod, giving me a last glance.
My eyes fell back on Luke whose gaze had hardened,"I gotta go.", I tried to break the obvious awkwardness. He nodded and crossed his arms under his chest, revealing the muscles under his tight t-shirt.
I seriously have to get out of here before i do something that I-probably won't- regret.
"Bye.", I let the hood fall as I didn't have to hide anymore. Before I could walk away he grabbed my hand, stopping me.
"You know that we need to talk about-", he paused, "everything, actually.", I nodded.
"I never hid from you Luke, you're the one who usually avoids the serious conversations.", before he could notice the emotion that was ready to slip from my tongue, I took my hand out of his grip, "Whenever you want, just come and talk to me."
I rushed into Reggie's room, leaving Luke behind. My now close friend and future husband,I can't even joke about it, was already leaving papers on top of his bed, staring at them focused.
"Ehm, Reg?", he looked up, raising his eyebrow, "Do you wanna do this to my house? My father will be gone for hours and Carlos is probably with his friends. What if your mother comes back again? We can't risk it.", he fixed his posture stood and bit his lips, "Yeah, sure. I'll get the car."
He was heading out of the room but I stepped in front of him, stopping him."I can call Max.", he looked at me confused, "My bodyguard."
"Oh, right. Do that then.", I don't know what thought was messing with his head but I could tell, it wouldn't be good news.
