Meeting The Sultana [Prt.1 COMPLETED]

CHAPTER 27

"Where can I get squid?". I asked Zabea as I put on my white tshirt.

After what Zabea and I did, we went back to the normal state. She is no longer angry with me and I no longer feel guilty for what I did because I told her I would do everything to marry her.

"What are you going to do with the squid?". She asked with a laugh.

"I already told you that squid is my favorite, and I want to cook you a delicious dinner". I said to her. She shook her head and approached.

She is now wearing a dress and her hijab has been adjusted, we are back to normal. She was wearing a dress and hijab while I was already wearing simple clothes.

"You don't need-". Zabea stopped talking when there was a knock on the door.

Zabea looked at me seriously and she whispered something.

"Act natural". She whispered softly. She approached and opened the door. After she opened, the general entered my room.

Zabea bowed and remained standing on the side.

"Excuse me General but I don't think it's right for you to enter my room without my permission". I told him. Because he suddenly came in and he was very rude.

He laughed weakly, pointed at me and faced Zabea.

"Come closer". He commands Zabea. I frowned at his treatment of a woman.

"Haven't you told him what the Sultana has ordered?". Zabea nodded.

I don’t like what he does, he shouldn’t treat a woman like this.

"I respect you General but treating women like that is not right, pointing your finger at me without hesitation is an act of disrespect. If you only did that to me I will accept but if you do that to this woman I will not hesitate to cut off the finger you have ". I said at length to him.

"Don't you know me Mr. Ferderico? I am the General and I can do everything I want inside this palace". He gritted his teeth and the nerve he had on his forehead was about to be cut because of anger.

"I know you General. Do you think the word 'General' you say would have power if I told the Sultana everything you did and for mistreating the maids, not only to them but to me as well?". I asked him. He laughed out loud.

Zabea just nodded and I was very annoyed with the General in front of me.

"You don't know me Mr. Ferderico. I am the right hand of Sultana Aleziana and whatever else you say she will never believe you". Said the General.

"Say what you want to say because I don't want you here in my room. You have no respect for anyone here and you also don't deserve my respect so you can leave, now". I said. I approached the large doors and opened it for them.

They walked out and before they could leave the General looked at Zabea and spoke.

"What the Sultana has commanded you, do it immediately. You may be punished for what you do". Zabea just nodded and I really want to punch that General's face.

When I closed the door I approached Zabea.

"I don't want to see others look down on you. That's one of the reasons why I want to marry you Zabea.". I said to her.

"Sultana Aleziana had to go back to India because of something and she ordered me to tell you to prepare your belongings and you will leave for India". She said, she ignored me and said what the Sultana ordered.

"What? Do I have to be with her?". I asked Zabea.

"Yes Caio, you have a contract with the Sultana so you have to end and follow what is in that Contract". She said. I approached her.

"Are you coming?". I asked her. I touched her face even though she had hijab. I looked deeply into her eyes and I am hoping that she will say she is coming.

"The Sultana also ordered you not to leave any more belongings here because your four-day contract will end in India and there she will book your plain ticket back to your homeland". She said. My forehead furrowed and I felt resentment, and I didn’t know where it came from.

"No, I don't want to leave here yet Zabea!". I said annoyed because of what she said.

"She hired you, she has control over you because you have a contract, Caio. You have to follow her". Zabea said. She wasn't looking at me, she didn't want to look at me.

Why does my chest suddenly hurt every time my heart beats? I don’t know, I don’t want to leave here.

"Even if-". I whispered.

"You have to obey Caio, The Sultana is one of the most respected people in the world and when you don't follow what she wants it's like you don't respect the whole continent of Africa and the nation of India.". She whispered. She touches my face and she tells me it’s okay without uttering any words.

"When's the flight?". I asked her, I looked in the other direction because I didn't want to see her eyes. It’s like I’m dying because of how I feel.

My throat hurt and I felt like I was running out of air due to the unexpected decision of the Sultana.

"Before the sun rises tomorrow Caio, you still have six hours to enjoy your stay here". She said softly.

Oh dearest! I wiped my tears away, I don't know why I feel this way, is it really like this if you fell in love with someone for just a short time and destiny suddenly takes that person away from you? What a painful world.

It is my first time falling inlove with a woman but it seems wrong, the opportunity and time are wrong.

"Why? Why do I even have to come, I want to spend my remaining time with you and the Sultana is still preventing that thing! Bullshit!". I kicked the suitcase next to the table. I touched my forehead and tried to suppress the emotion I was feeling right now.

I don’t know why I feel this way.

"That's really it, you just have to accept it Caio.". She said softly.

"Did I do something wrong to feel this Zabea? Tell me, is it wrong to fall inlove with you? Maybe we're at the wrong time." I whispered but I didn't let her hear what I said.

"Let's just make the most of the time we have Caio, I'm also doleful because you're leaving, when I heard that command I was hurt, but I started to think that the things that make me happy will pass and go away too". She whispered. I approached her and touched her delicate face.

"Will I never see you again?". I asked her sadly.

"Never Caio.". She whispered. I wanted to shed tears but I restrained myself.

"Did destiny lend you to me?".

"Before you leave I want you to know that you made me happy for three days Mr. Caio. I felt like there was color all around because of you but I know you're right. We're at the wrong time". She whispered.

"I will try my best to see you again and marry you Zabea, just please, don't give up on me, I don't know how else I can enter this palace, I don't know how to see you again but I will promise I will marry you, I will use all my power to make you mine in the end. All I want you to do is wait and trust me, please. ". I said emotionally.

"I won't let you be left here and your life will be miserable because of me, I don't want you to experience being alone for the rest of your life and I especially don't want them to punish you.".

"I promise I'll come back and marry you Zabea.". I whispered.
