Eva is currently passed out on the hospital bed, but her soul isn't. Her soul is in her room in that rickety house, right next to the smoke stacks.
Eva was lying on the old plank floor in her room. She couldn't move a muscle, so she was left there, frozen in place, once again. All she could do was look around. She stared at the ceiling, dumbfounded and confused, when she heard the creaking of floors.
She looked towards the door, and saw her dog, George. "Oh, thank god..." She thought to herself. He walked into the room, and stared at the spot where Eva was. George jumped onto the spot where she lied. She braced herself for the pain, mentally screaming "George NO!"
He landed, but through her. Eva looked down, puzzled. When she saw that George had gone through her, she almost lost her mind trying to figure out what was going on. All she could piece together was that she was unable to move like once before, not too long ago, when she was dreaming about her mother.
"Dreaming, dreaming," she mentally gasped, "Dreaming! This is a dream! But why is it that I can never move?" she thought. She looked into George's eyes, and he looked at her. All of a sudden, black started to creep its way into them in a radial swoop. "George?" Eva tried to speak. By this point, his eyes were completely black.
Eva saw a black flash in the corner of the room, and then heard a yelp of pain. She looked back down at the dog before her, and saw maggots crawling out of his ears, quickly evolving into flies. Once they turned into flies, they flied freely, but didn't leave the room. She was horrified.
She was even more horrified, however, when she looked at the ceiling, and saw a pair of crimson eyes staring back at her. The flies were quickly attracted to the eyes, creating a body. The mass flew around the room- the sound of buzzing deafening.
The mass snapped, and all of the flies died at once. At least the noise stopped. The mass took in the matter from the flies and formed a makeshift body.
It took the form of a woman with long, ratty hair and massive eye bags. Eva's heart raced.
"What do you want from me!?" She cried. The dark figure floated over her, dripping the liquidated flies all over her body. Tears threatened to spill over Eva's eyes.
"I want you to LEAVE MY FUCKING HOUSE!!!" She screamed in a raspy voice. Eva started to sob in freight, but the woman waved her arm and muffled her. "Look. I can't contact your dad nearly as easily as you. Teenagers are much more likely to strike fear into. The first time you heard me speak, I scared you so badly that I made your bones shake, and I was able to latch onto you." She laughed maniacally. "You know what that means! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY, EVA!"
Eva was scared out of her mind.
"Now... LEAVE!" She flipped Eva onto her stomach, knocking the wind out of her. She drew a cutlass from a shadow in the corner of the room and pierced her heart.
