6. Scars to your beautiful

Eantering the bathroom I listened for a sound, anything... only the sound of heavy breathing echoed around the room. Slow and cautious I approached the one stall that was occupied and knocked. Simon's velvety voice echoed from within.

Simon: its occupied!
Me: Simon? Its Syril, syril lakes. We met at the Admin office.

Simon unlocked the door and smiled softly at me but something seemed off about him, my eyes raked over his body scanning every inch until it fell upon his wrists wrapped in bandages.

Me: Simon..?
Simon: don't tell anyone please.

I nodded and forced my chest reassuring smile as I took hold of the taller boys hands.

Me: we probably have classes together, we should get going. I brought a friend hope you don't mind.

Simon nodded and dropped my hands as we walked towards the door but my mind didn't stray from his wrists... something was wrong, terribly wrong with Simon Weathers.

Outside~

Katrian: its about time bro.
Ashley: sorry, I couldn't find Onyx, he's gone off on one.

The two ginger haired boys shrugged as they made their way through the rain, unaware of prying eyes.

Sighing Onyx wiped the blood from his brow and threw a crooked smile at the nurse. She didn't return the young mans smile as she shook her head.

Nurse: this isn't the first time this has happened is it?
Onyx: no, but I'll be okay.
Nurse: do you want me to call someone, perhaps the child services?

Onyx panicked and stood up in a hurry, the world spinning as he shook his head.

Onyx: no! Uhm... please don't, I'm fine I promise.

And he rushed off before the nurse could say anymore.

In the hall~

We all gathered in the hall, about 500 boys or so, getting paired off in trios and sent towards our dorms. Myself Timber and Ashley approached one of the teachers who smiled warmly at us.

Teacher: hello boys, let's see now, last names?
Timber: Chambers
Simon: Weathers
Me: Lakes
Teacher: yep, yep and.... yep, okay off you go to opal court, just over by the science block. It's the one with white flags.

We nodded and hurried off towards the building with white flags, but that's when I saw him.
