Ranboo's POV:

I wake up to the sun shining directly into my face. Every bone in my body was aching. I turned to see if Y/N ever went to sleep in the spot I made for her.

The bed was untouched.

I look around to see who else was awake. Nobody was, but I saw Y/N asleep with her arms wrapped around Wilbur.

We were fine yesterday... What happened?

Y/N's POV:

I woke up and pulled away from Wilbur. I sit up and straighten my dress, looking around to ee who else was up. Nobody was, apart from Ranboo. We stare at eachother awkwardly before I decide to walk over to him.

I sat down next to him and stare at him. He stared back at me.

"What was wrong yesterday? I know there was something," I say to him. He replied very quietly. I couldn't hear anything apart from "...not wearing mask..."

As soon as I heard that, I tore a piece of my dress. It'd be fine, it wasn't very pretty anyways. He looked at me in shock, which I thought was quite funny.

I compared the piece to his face and went towards the horses. I know I left an old sowing kit in one of the bags, I just don't know which.

Luckily, I found it quickly. I quickly made the fabric more "mask" shaped and tore off part of my corset's ribbon and eventually ended up with a mask similar to the black and white one that he wore.

"Here you are," I say sitting next to him once again.

He quickly put it on and practically whispered a "Thank you."

Wilbur somehow contacted someone to pick us up on a ship. Since Melodale is an island, we would be much safer.

Timeskip

We soon arrived at the Melodalien (Me-low-Da-Lyen) Castle. I had been there a ton of times, and apparently so had the loud, blonde prince.

He said his kingdom was very close, which we all knew, so he left for home.

Wil led Ranboo to a guest bedroom and told me I'd stay where I usually did. We thanked him and entered Ranboo's room.

"Felling better?" I ask. "Yeah, I'm sorry," he said. I didn't reply, which caused him to give me a worried look, but I hugged him.

"All is well," I whispered.
