Ranboo's POV:

Y/N obviously couldn't ride a horse on her own, so we were sharing a horse and taking an extra one. We were full on galloping, the sound was loud, but we were probably almost an hour from civilization. We'd be fine.

"Should we stop for the night? The horses will be exhausted," Y/N mumbled from where she was sat in front of me. I caught up to Wilbur who was in the front of our herd. "Wil," I say, causing him to slow down. "Yes?" he asked sounding concerned. "I think it'd be best if we stopped and hid for the night, the horses will be too exhausted to continue at some point," Y/N said tiredly.

"Alright, everyone, we shall stop for the night once we reach that forest up ahead," he announced.

As we continued, I felt the need to lower my mask to breathe better, but when I reached up to my face, I wasn't wearing it.

Y/N's POV:

I was about to fall asleep in his arms, but I couldn't. Not just that we were on an extremely bumpy ride, but I felt him tense up, as if he were uncomfortable.

I looked up at his face and he looked down at me. I gave him a weak smile, but his worried expression didn't change. He just looked back up at the land in front of him. "Are you okay?" I asked him softly. I heard him hum, "Mhm," softly, but it was far from "Yes."

"Stop," I said. He immediately stopped the horse causing us to jerk forward. "What's wrong?" I asked him. "Nothing," he whispered almost annoyed. He clearly didn't want to tell me, so I stopped asking, although now our silence was uncomfortable.

We eventually made it to a dark part of the forrest, where he tied up the horses and everyone began laying down leaves to sleep on.

I want nothing to do with Ranboo right now, so I walked over to Wilbur. "Hey," I said quietly. "Hi, I'm sorry N/N," he said. "Its alright, I just don't see you that way, I'm sorry," I mumbled. "You have nothing to apologize for, I just hope we can stay friends," he whispered. I nodded and hugged him.

I felt a pair of eyes watching me as I did, but I didn't turn around to see who it was.

It didn't matter.

Timeskip

Once everyone had finished making a comfortable area, we all fell asleep. As I checked up on everyone, I saw an empty area of leaves next to Ranboo's. I considered it, I really did, but I continued walking.

"Psst," I heard a whisper. I almost jumped, although I was in fact terrified. All is well though, it was Wilbur. "You shouldn't be up, you'll make it easier to be spotted by soldiers," he said before pulling me down to his "make shift bed."

I accepted it and fell asleep there.
