Y/N's POV:

For some reason, I quite liked that one guy from Snowchester. Anyone who was at the ceremony would think I had been crushing on Wilbur, but truth be told, I only see him as an older brother. Our families were almost always having dinner together or visiting each other's kingdoms. Wil was simply my best friend.

The clock ticked it suddenly hit 5:30pm. Puffy would be going out and reminding the princes of the dinner, that only two of them were aware of.

A little while later, 6:00pm, I stepped outside of my room to find Puffy with five boys behind her. By then, I had changed into a fitting outfit.

"Your majesty, would you like me to escort you to the dining hall?" she asked. "I think I can manage; I can also lead the boys if you'd like me too," I offered. "If you wish," she smiled. I nodded and she signaled for them to follow me.

The boys followed me. Two blondes, Wilbur, the black haired colorblind one, and the prince from Snowchester. I believe his name was Ranboo? I'm not too sure. In all honesty, I wasn't paying attention, he just gave a similar vibe as Wil, just without the brotherly part.

We had finally made it to the dining hall, where I showed the boys to their seats also sitting down at mine. I had Wil to my left and Ranboo to my right, the rest of the boys were on the sides next to them. Wilbur quickly began chatting with the younger blonde boy next to him, as did the other blonde with the colorblind prince. I figured the most I could do to ease the situation with the anxious boy next to me was to talk to him.

"Can you remind me of your name," I asked quietly. "Ranboo," he smiled in my direction. "My apologies Ranboo, I hadn't been paying attention during the ceremony, I didn't want to be there," I mumbled. He laughed quietly before continued talking to me. He was quite funny to be honest. I think I can get around to liking him.

The room went quiet as my father walked in. "Hello everyone," he said. "Is everyone okay with their rooms and does anyone have any allergies?" he asked. Everyone took turns answering, everyone saying yes to the room, no to the allergies. "That's wonderful to hear, we shall get started on the dining then."

That was Puffy's cue to come in. She brought the usual, fruit salads and three turkeys. Much salad and pasta too. We didn't always have the same thing, only when guests were over. That didn't include Wil's family.

Everyone served themselves politely and ate in silence.

The second everyone was eating, I felt Ranboo get a bit tense. "What's wrong?" I whispered. That's when I really acknowledged his mask. "N-Nothing..." he whispered back and slowly unhooked his mask. He let it hang on the side I was on, the perfect angle to where I couldn't see his face. Luckily enough for him, there was nobody sitting to his right, there was a wall there.

He began eating not long after.

Not much happened during the dinner, however, once my father had finished, he began talking. "Tomorrow, you will all take turns going on dates with Y/N, you have until noon to plan, after that, you will each have two hours. Two of you will go on dates tomorrow, two more the day after, and the last before on the next. You will submit your date locations to Puffy, once again, tomorrow at noon."

Ranboo's POV:

I felt Y/N freeze for a second. "Father, what time is it?" she asked. "6:45 darling," he answered. She started looking a little pale and excused herself. I was confused and concerned for her. "Wilbur, please follow her and make sure she's okay," her father said.

A few minutes later, he returned and said, "There's no cause for concern." I released a quiet breath that I wasn't aware I was holding. I think I worry too much. I don't even know her. It doesn't even matter, because her father is quite fond of that Wilbur guy, and so is she. The others and I are just wasting our time now.

Timeskip

I submitted my date location and walked back to my room. I had showered and changed into a somewhat formal yet casual outfit.

I heard a knock on my door. I opened it to see the princess. "Hello?" I asked. "Hello, I just thought to come and get to know you more, or is this a bad time?" she asked. "No, it's okay, come in," I said. She sat down on my bed and asked how I liked the place. "It is quite nice, so I will say that" I replied. "I'm glad you think that! Tell me about Snowchester," she said in response. I would've thought this was something her dad sent her to ask if she didn't see so interested.

"Well..." I started, "I'm not actually a prince, I am a knight for the kind and queen, however they do not have kids and believe that the lower section of the royal family is unworthy and the ruler set me to be next." "Oh! I didn't know that," she said in surprise. I just laughed.

We spent the last two hours of our day talking and getting to know each other, and honestly, I think we'll get along well. We said our goodbyes and goodnights just before she left to her room. She once again ran into Wilbur, as I could see from my door, where they talked for a second, hugged, and she continued going her way.
