Y/n's pov:
I never liked the thought of college. Growing up, I was always an honors student, making highschool relatively easy. It also meant I could graduate sooner, leaving me two off years, instead of one. But now, those years were over, and I had to persue my learning to be an engineer.
My first class would start soon, meaning I had an hour to eat before heading to campus. As I head down to the cafe to meet my best friend, Caitlyn, I put on my on my light coat and made my way through the large and crowded campus. You'd be suprised on how many kids were up this early, since I had the first class of the morning. I arrived to the campus to find Caitlyn already sitting with a drink. I waved to her and signaled that I would go order my own drink. After getting the small cup of coffee, I sat in the booth she was in, sitting infront of her.
"You ready for your classes?" She questioned, a small smile on her face. " to be honest? No. But, I think I'll manage it anyway." I laughed out. "I'm glad. So, I heard you have a few classes with my friend. She'd be more than happy to help with anything." I nodded at her words, checking my phone watch. "We better get going, we don't wanna miss our first class, right?" She nodded, standing up.
As me and Caitlyn made our way through the campus, lucky to have the same class for the day, we talked about the small things we were excited for this year. We walked into the large lecture hall, admiring every detail of the school. Caitlyn turned to see my look of astonishment, and laughed. I never toured the campus, due to the fact that I had been too busy moving into my dorm, so everything was new to me. The professor greeted us, and told us we could wait around until class starts, only having ten minutes to spare.
"Sup, ladies." A voice chimed in behind us, interrupting our conversation. "Vi! I didn't know you had this class too!" Caitlyn laughed, turning toward the girl. As I turned too, I saw her features. She wore a white t shirt covered by a red varsity jacket, and wore black ripped jeans. She had warm pink hair, and a feild of soft freckles lining her cheeks. Small scars and rings highlighted her lips, nose, ears, and eyebrows. I must have worn a confused expression, causing thats when Caitlyn turned back to me. "Oh, Y/n, this is Violet. The friend I was telling you about." I nodded, understanding a bit more, and faced the pretty figure. "Good things, I hope." She smiled at Caitlyn. Then her attention was on me.
"Uh, Hi. Uhm, I'm Y/n." I sputtered out. Nervous of meeting people in general. "Y/n? A beautiful name. It certainly fits." She winked before continuing. "As you heard, im Violet, but you can call me Vi." She reached her hand out. "Nice to meet you, Vi." I said, shaking her hand. "Same to you." She smirked before shifting my hand and kissing it. I felt my cheeks grow hot at the sight of her half opened eyes staring into my soul as she gently pressed her warm pink lips to the soft skin of my hand. Upon seeing me like this, I saw her own face subtly change hues as she dropped my hand.
"If you two are done flirting, I would like to find my seat, now." Caitlyn smirked. "Uh, yeah o-ok." I half laughed in embarrassment. "Sure thing." Vi smiled as if nothing had happened. We made our way to the luxury seats of the room and took out our notes books. Vi sat in between me and Caitlyn, while I sat next to one of my other friends. "So, whats your schedule?" Vi nudged me. "Oh, I think I have it somewhere." I smiled as I dug through some papers, taking the schedule out. "Huh, we have three classes together. Looks like you're stuck with me." She smirked. "Eh, doesn't seem that bad." I countered. She just laughed at my response, turning back to Caitlyn.
"Who's that? She's cute." My friend, Clara, had spoken. "Her?" I said glancing at Vi. "Thats Vi, apparently we have a few of the same classes together." I whispered. "Dude, really? She's, like, totally into you." I raised an eyebrow. "What, don't belive me? Look for yourself, she keeps glancing at you." She smirks. "Yeah, yeah, whatever." I playfully rolled my eyes, turning to the professor who was about to begin.
The class was extremely boring, I have to give you that. Barely keeping my eyes open, I glance around the room to keep myself occupied. That's when my eyes met Vi's, who was also staring at me. "This class is boring, huh?" She smiled. "Tell me about it." I playfully rolled my eyes, earning a soft chuckle from her. As more minutes slowly and painfully pass by, I unconsciously started tapping my leg. It was a habbit I had developed even since the first year of junior high, and has only gotten worse since then.
My leg had abruptly come to a stop, startling me when I felt a large, slim hand on my leg. I snapped my neck up, following the arm of the hand that led to the pink haired woman, who had met my gaze with a smirk. She leaned in a little, to whisper something to me. "Your gonna annoy someone with that, you know." She glanced at me with the corner of her eye. "Right, sorry." I mumbled. Though I had stopped, and turned my attention back to the lecture, it took me a while to noticed her hand still on my leg. Upon realization, I looked up at her, seeing her still staring me down. Leaning towards her, hand covering my mouth while I rested my chin on my palm, I spoke, trying to gain confidence. "What are you doing, Vi?" I mumbled softly. Her hand inched toward my inner thigh. "Keeping you in control of your leg, why? Want me to stop?" She smirked, already knowing my answer by the hue of my cheeks. I just grunted, lifting my gaze back to the professor.
This girl is gonna be the death of me.
