"I'm in the wrong universe....." Megumi x reader

Chapter 10

  I wake up to see I'm in a room unfamiliar to me, I was also wearing a baggy t-shirt and some sweatpants instead of my uniform. I slowly get up, but as I do my head starts pounding I stop moving and put my hands on my head in pain. I then hear the door to my room open and see all three second years come in "Hey, your finally awake. How do you feel?" Maki asked while they all come into my room and sit down next to my bed. "Fine I guess, but I have a terrible headache"

 "Yeah that sounds about right" Panda holds out his paw and hands me a bottle a pills "Ieiri said these should help with your head and she also said to take them one a day to help" I take the pill bottle and open them Inumaki then hands me a water bottle and I take the pill. "How are the others?" Last time I had seen the others they were either badly hurt or going to fight a curse. "Their all ok, everyone expect Megumi had minor injury's" I perk up when I heard Maki say Megumi didn't have a minor injury "What happen to Megumi" "Eh I'll let him tell you"

 They then start getting up and Inumaki hands me a bag with food inside "Inumaki made food for you. So, once your done eating put on your uniform and meet us in the main waiting room" I nodded my head at Panda and say a quick thank you to Inumaki and he nods at me and They all leave.  I start eating the food and get stars in my eyes when I take the first bite and think to myself "OMG, this is so good! Why would Inumaki hide his cooking" I finished the food in a matter of minutes. I sit in bed contemplating whether or not I should get up or just say I'm still not feeling well which wouldn't be a complete lie. With a sigh I get up and start getting ready.

-----------------Time Skip--------------

  Both school was in the waiting room while Gojo was talking to us about what happened "So anyways, that happened and some people died. But what now? Keep going?" everyone was in deep thought the whole time Gojo was talking, If I'm being honest I'm sure some of those thought were 'what if.....' question. Yuji was the first one to talk out of all of us "Uh, I have no idea what to say." That' when Todo started talking "Get real." Yuji looked at him in surprise "The Exchange Event will keep going, of course!" Yuji then stutters Todo when Gojo asked him "What are you reasons?" Todo then started to explain "For one, only those who have direct connection to the victims have a right to moron. It would be rude for us to butt in. And secondly, if people have died, that's all the more reason for us to work to become stronger. Acquired strength can only come from the accumulation of results. Tasting defeat and savory victory, these are the things that lead us to grow! The most important thing now is for those results to continue to exist." 

 During his whole speech I was zoned put mainly in deep thought about his words but also, thinking how close Megumi has been standing next to me this whole time. "Third, when a student feels like they weren't able to bring out their best, it'll hang over them until they die." Todo was finally finished with talking and I guess Gojo was taken back by what he said "How old are you?" Megumi the speaks his "Yea, I'm fine with all that." followed by me saying "I do have the need to get revenge so, I'm down with that." "We'll still win anyways" Nobara said.

 Kamo who had a bunch of wrap over his face said "He does have a point." which lead Momo to question him "Kamo, shouldn't you be resting?" Panda and Inumaki agreed with continuing and Maki asking "How do we pair up for the individual fights?" "Huh? there re no individual fight battles." Once Gojo had said that it had left everyone in the room in questioning. 

----------Little freeze for Panda explaining how the Exchange Event usually goes--------

 We all let out a grumble while Gojo explains "I don't like routines but this is how it's done. Every year we put competitions methods here" He throws a box with a whole in it at Yuji "And we pull one out." Yuji looks a bit confused but then pulls a piece of paper out. "Huh? What?" Then out of nowhere the principals from both by Yuji side confused. That's when our schools principal reads what it says "baseball?" the principals have a little talk together while Gojo slips away. 

--------------Time Skip----------

 It was Kyoto's turn to hit and they were on their second batter, I was on the left out field. Miwa had hit a fly ball which Inumaki had easily caught and threw it to Panda which had got Momo out , when that happened The Kyoto teacher got mad at Momo because she didn't really understand the rules. Their third batter was Kamo, once he had got there it looked like he was talking to Yuji about something but since I'm so far in the out field I couldn't hear. While that was happening Maki was doing a sign to Nobara and Inumaki. 

 Maki had thrown 3 balls which were all strikes which Kamo didn't even try to hit but, it got us our third out so Gojo yelled "Strike! Batter out! Change out!" Gojo seemed really into the game, he wasn't even wearing his uniform or blind fold and his hair was down. 

 We ran back to our dug out. Our first batter was Nobara when she went up she gave this little speech of some sort. Which then lead to Megumi and Yuji tp say "No, Tanaka's the Tanaka of Tohoku." "And Tanaka's the pitcher!" and Inumaki adding a "bonito flakes" which just made her blood boil. Then they rolled out some machine and that really set Nobara off, she threw her helmet and yelled "what the hell is that!" Then we all ran towards the field while Yuji yelled "Uh-oh, Kugisaki snapped! It's a free for-all!" Panda ran up behind her and grabbed under her arms while she yelled "Hey, using a pitching machine is against the rules!" Mai was just standing there with her hand on her chin. 

  "I don't know what you're talking about. This is just a spare. It's a spare Mechamaru. We had no other choice, since your Panda broke our main one. Huh, a pitching machine, eh? I guess I don't understand, but you know a lot about machines. Hey, are you an otaku?" Mai had said that sounding all innocent which pissed off Nobara even more "It's just one thing after another with you, huh? And somehow you're still a student here."

  Nobara finally cames to terms with the machine and went her turn and yelled while running after hitting the ball "fine! I'll get a hit anyway!" We were all standing just in case "All right, see got on base" Yuji said then I followed after saying "yea, after getting pissed off a bunch of times" Megumi then said "fueled by rage." 

 It was then Megumi turn to batter. He hit it lightly which was then caught and got him out, but Nobara was able to get to second. It was then Pandas turn to pitch, his hit was able to get Nobara to third and Panda to first. The Maki went up to batter. You could feel the tension on the field. Maki hit it up which would have landed us 3 home runs except Momo was on her broom and caught which got Maki and made Yuji, Inumaki, and Megumi yell "Ah! Cheater!" "Bonito flakes!" "Kugisaki, go back"

 It was now Kyoto's school to batter again. Todo was their first up to batter which lead to another talk with Yuji. Maki then threw the ball which hit Todo's face and made him fall into Yuji's arms and basically everyone yelled out to Maki "nice pitch" because at this point everyone was done with Todo and, we just kept on complementing Maki. 

----------Little time skip---------

 It was finally our turn again to batter and Inumaki was first to batter. He was able to get to first base "Whoa, Inumaki made it!" Yuji said and Megumi said back "yea, Inumaki's surprisingly fast, huh?" It was finally my turn to batter, if I'm being completely honest I'm was super excited to finally bat. I got up to the plate and focused on the machine ready to hit. It seemed forever when the ball finally came but, when it did I was able to hit it passed to outfielders that were on the ground and I was able to get to second base and Inumaki to home base which got us a point.

 My hit always got me a few "nice jobs" or "way to go Y/N" from my team mates which warmed my heart a little. It was Yuji's turn to batter and, when he hit everyone was in pure shook because he was able to hit it passed Momo which lead us to get 2 more home runs from Me and Yuji. In the end of the day we won 3-0 and, left us with happy smiles even though we were attacked we put that aside and looked at our win in the moment.

Hello! sorry I haven't posted a chapter in awhile. It was mainly because of irl situation but, I will be trying to posted the last chapter before school start up again or me so look forward for that. I can't believe we only have 3 more chapters to go for the season because I do not read the manga I only watch the anime and idk when season 2 is suppose to come out so I hope you enjoy this chapter! -A/N
