"I'm in the wrong universe....." Megumi x reader

Chapter 11

  So this chapter is gonna be a day off for Jujutsu tech so it's not from the show and what happens in this chapter will help with a bit of drama for the last few chapters -A/N

  "You guys have a day off today!" Gojo said. We were all outside in front of the dorms due to Gojo banging on our doors at 4 in the morning. Yuji was the only one to show he was excited about the news, but however for Megumi and Nobara they looked like they wanted to kill Gojo. I was about to pass out just standing there. "Couldn't you have texted us this instead of banging on our dorms at 5 in the morning" Megumi angrily said.

  Gojo didn't really seemed bothered by his comment and just shrugged "you guys are free to do anything you want today" Yuji suddenly seemed more excited then a minute ago "Really?! Like anything!?" "Yep" 

  Gojo walked away while having his hand in his pockets "Have fun!" Yuji looked at us "So what shou-" he stopped talking once he saw Megumi and Nobara's angered expression with the same thought "I'm gonna kill him." That's when I fall down quickly falling asleep on the ground.

---------Time Skip---------

   After going back to back to bed and waking back up at 9. The four us decided to go out shopping, well really it was Nobara and Yuji's idea to go shopping Megumi and I got dragged along with them. We decide to go out in normal attire instead of our uniforms and headed to the strip mall to look through all the shops they had. Now It was only 11:30 am and we already at our 6th store of the day.

 "Yes Nobara that dress looks great for you." I respond to the 15th dress she's shown me; my feet are starting to hurt so I'm constantly shifting my feet, but nobody seems to notice well not to my knowledge. "Why do you even need a dress?" "You never know we could be asked to go undercover for some mission and we need to look elegant for it" Nobara answers while holding a new dress to her body.

 Everybody gave Nobara a 'really' look, Yuji was the one to speak first "That's highly unlikely plus you couldn't pull off that type of mission even if you tried" and that's what set Nobara into a fit and made her start yelling at Yuji which then made him start yelling back at her. I was started to get a little annoyed and cranky due to my feet in pain and because I made the decision of not eating anything before we left. Worst. Decision. EVER. 

  Suddenly I was gently grabbed by the arm and quickly whisked away from the shop we were just in. I was about to force myself to stop when I looked to see it was Megumi who had walked us out of the shop. I was confused, but didn't question when I saw a little café ahead of us I guess Megumi was was also hungry. 

  We got in line, luckily it wasn't a very long one. "What are you gonna get?" Megumi finally speaks "huh? Oh I was planning on getting (f/f) and (f/d)" Megumi just nods his head a looks forward.

  It was finally our turn, the cashiers greets us and asked what we want, but before I could get a word out Megumi says both of our orders and pulls out his wallet. "Hey wait, Megumi I can pay for myself you don't need to pay for me." I say going to look through my purse, but Megumi had already pulled out his money to give to the cashier "It's fine my treat" and he quickly gives the cashier his money. The cashier gives us a number and we go find a table by the window and we patiently wait for our food. 

 We sat in comfortable silence though Megumi looked a little nervous about something in fact he looked nervous since we entered the shop. "Megumi are you ok?" Megumi looked towards me and sighs a little and finally asked "what was it like in your world?" His question made me freeze it defiantly wasn't what I was expecting him to ask me "I've noticed that you never talk about it."

  I unfreeze and put on a fake smile "It was great very different from this one, but its uh really awesome." Everything I said was a lie. I hate living there. I'm glad I got sent here. Megumi looks at me with a look in his eyes I couldn't decipher, but I didn't really think anything of it. Megumi goes to say something, but is interrupted by the waiter bringing our food and setting it on the table. 

 Once the waiter left I went straight to eating not wanting to talk about the other world and because I was really hungry. Megumi also did the same taking the hint of me not wanting to talk anymore.   

----Time Skip----

 After we finished eating we decided we weren't ready to go back to the other two. We had been walking for a couple minutes now completely silent neither of us really knowing what to say. As we walked some more when I saw a flower shop and got distracted and didn't see where I was going. Right as I was about to crash in to two men I feel someone pull me into them.

 I look up only to see Megumi looking down at me with a hint of concern in his eyes. "Are you ok?" I could barely comprehend what he was saying due to me being in a trance. I finally collect myself and quickly get out of his embrace with my cheeks being a bit red "Y-yea I'm fine." I look away embarrassed. 

 We stand there for a minute in a bit of awkward silence till I hear a sigh and I look towards Megumi to see him looking away with a small blush and a hand rubbing his neck "Look I don't really know how to say this, but for a little while now I've had these feeling for you and didn't know how to tell you." I stare at Megumi with a shocked face "Are you saying you like me more than a friend?" Megumi looks at with more of a blush on his face and nods his head.

 We simply stare at one another before Megumi lets out another sigh and looks away "Sorry I-" before he can finish his sentence I kiss his cheek and say "I like you too in more than a friend" He looks at me in shock, but I smile and he gives a small smile back. "Sooooo, are we counting this as our first date?" He gives a small chuckle "If you want it to be I guess." I bounce a little on my feet with my smile growing more.

 We continue to walk just talking about whatever we can think, really salvaging the moment before the other two find us again. "So are we gonna tell the other two what happened?" Megumi turns a looks at me before turning back to looking forward "Knowing them I prefer not to seeing as they will probably tease us for it. I also wanted to take things slow if that ok with you." "Of course, I don't really know anything about relationships so I think going slow is the best." I smile at him as we continue to walk and talk.

----Meanwhile in the distance----

"Would you look at that the beginning of young love" Gojo said very dramatically. He and the second years were watching You and Megumi for a bit away. "Did you really bring us all the way out here to spy on Y/N and Megumi?" Maki asked with a bored expression "They actually look really cute together " "salmon" Panda and Inumaki comment.
