"I'm in the wrong universe....." Megumi x reader

Chapter 5

       I know I know Yes it did take me this long to finally actually write and upload a chapter, I'm sorry but I'm glad to see people actually reading my story so THANK YOU. Now and y'all have been waiting for THE NEXT CHAPTER. -A/N

      *knock knock knock knock* "huh" I wake up confused. I turn a bit to see the time *4:30 AM* "who's would be up at this ungodly time" I whisper to myself. I finally get up and go to the door and open it rubbing my eyes to see the one and only Maki.

     "Maki? what are you doing here?" I asked with a bit of a scratchiness in my voice. She threw me some clothes while saying "Get dressed, I want a 1 on 1 with you before training with the others." And with that she had closed my door and stood outside my room.

   I was confused but shrugged it off and got dressed. Once I was done I went out of my room, and once Maki saw me she started walking without saying anything which I didn't really question. 

      After a few minutes of walking we had stopped pf what looks like to be a field with a track around it, and we were in the middle of it. "Soooooo, why'd you want to train me at 4 in the morning?" I asked standing in front of Maki a little bit away from her.

    "Gojo had told me what's going on with you, so I took it upon myself to see what you can do and how useful you and your power can be" after she finished she went into a fighting stance with a smirk on her face. "So come at me with all you got"

    I smirked to getting into my fighting stance and getting my powers going in my hands. For a few seconds we stare at each other, until we started charging at each other. 

     Maki was winding her stick back going to hit me, as she brings it down to hit me I slid under it  and then getting back up fast and kicking her in the back catching her off guard for a minute. She stumbled a bit but didn't fall, she then turned around and swung her stick at me but I dodged it again. 

      As Maki was doing that she caught me off guard with sweeping my feet and pinning me to the ground with my hands above my head (totally not blushing at what I just wrote ahaha.... sorry carry on - A/N) "huh, don't tell it's this easy to take you down. And how come you haven't used your power on me huh? Don't tell me you're scared" she said with a smirk.

       I looked at her and started smirking and shot my magic into her mind putting her under a hallucination that's playing in her mind. I then pushed her off me to the side of me and took her stick away with me now holding it, I then put the end of her stick on her chest waiting for her to snap out of the faze.

    When she finally snapped out of it she looked around a bit then looked at her stick and looked up to me seeing me with a smirk. "Not bad kid" she really actually looked impressed with me. I move the stick away and help her up. "you've got potential, now come you still have just a bit of training to do." And that's exactly what we did.

---------TIME SKIP--------

      I was laying beside of Inumaki tired as hell Maki had me training a lot then I was forced to do some training with Panda and Nobara which they were running together for some reason. I could care less right now.

    Maki, Inumaki, and I heard foot steps behind us and looked back to see Megumi in his training outfit walking down towards us. "Yo, you're late, Megumi" Maki said, and then Inumaki saying "Kelp" agreeing with Maki. I simple didn't say anything as he walked towards Maki more.

     "Why are you late?" Maki asking Megumi. "And why does it matter to you?" Megumi saying back to Maki. Maki just looked the other but Megumi started talking again, "Answer me something" "hm?" Maki turned a bit to back at him. "As a sorcerer, what kind of people do you want to save?" Megumi asked "hm, that's out of the blue for him" I thought. Maki fully looked back him "Huh? What difference should it make to me whether my actions save anyone at all?"

      Megumi had a annoyed face on to her answer "I knew I shouldn't have asked you." Maki just made at him and slightly yelled at him "Say what!" "FUSHIGURO" I sat up to see what was happening with Nobara to only see her being swung around by panda making me laugh a bit. Nobara tho being swung yelled "QUIT ASKING INTERVIEW PREP QUESTIONS AMD COME SWITCH PLACES WITH ME! I AM SO TOTALLY SICK OF THESE SCHOOL UNIFORMS! LET ME GO BUY SOME CUTE TRACKSUITS FOR THIS EVENT!" I was full on laughing now holding my stomach laying back down on the ground.

     What I missed to notice was Megumi glancing at me and smiling just a small bit "that's the first time I've seen her smile or laugh" Megumi thought in his mind. With Panda still swing Nobara ready to let go says "And here we go" I thought I was done laughing until I saw Nobara let go and is screaming. 

     Megumi went back to his monotone self asking "What the hell are they doing?". I had finally calmed down still having a little smile on my face and snickering a bit when I see Nobara fall face first with her butt in the air, Panda answered Megumi "Falling Practice" and he gave a thumbs up. 

    Still not understanding Inumaki he said "Mustard leaf" panda then said "You're both pretty weak in close quarters." Panda said, but then Megumi looked at me while I was bored playing with a little ball of my powers. "What about Y/N?" "hm?" I looked up "Well to be honest you'll have to ask Maki they trained together before anyone was up." I looked at Megumi and just gave him a closed eyed smile.

    Maki was quick to change the subject "So first." Maki did this flip thing with her training stick which I had seen the trick this morning. "See if you can land a blow on is." Maki said with her hand out and her stick behind her. "Do that and we'll talk." I then went "ooooooo" excited to see what's about to happen.

  While they were getting ready to do that I looked at Inumaki and asked "Hey Inumaki" he looked over at me and titled his head. "I can read minds is it ok if I look in your mind for when you talk so I can understand you? I promise I will only look at what you're trying to say" I look at him waiting for an answer "salmon" he said with his thumb up I had a bit of a spark in my ok "Thank you Inumaki!" he just pats my head and nods and goes towards Panda and Nobara

-------TIME SKIP TO JUST A LITTLE BIT LATER-------

    I was sitting down stretching while Megumi and Maki were standing away from me but in front of me and Panda was back at it again with spinning Nobara and I guess now Inumaki is going to try and catch her. "What's wrong?" Maki says to Megumi who is angry all of a sudden " I'm irritated all of a sudden" Maki of course thought it was towards her "huh?" Maki had a mad face at Megumi, and of course Megumi told her "No, I don't mean with you" 

   While listening to Megumi and Maki talk I see Panda throw poor Nobara again and this Inumaki is trying to catch her and I hear him say "salmon roe". Maki went back to her normal self saying "Only a month and a half left. So no daydreaming! Now here, try your hand at the long one next." Maki then throws her stick at Megumi who catches it. "This actually feels pretty good." who was now holding the stick in his hands

-------ANOTHER TIME SKIP BECAUSE-------

    Nobara had forced me to go shopping with her even though I didn't want, but I was forced to. But! I managed to get away from her and get so training clothes myself I didn't want to keep wearing Maki's clothes.

------YES ANOTHER TIME SKIP------

        I was back in my dorm in my pajamas ready to go to bed since Maki woke me up at 4 in the morning, but fate had other plans because I then hear a knock at my door I sigh a bit and go and open the door and to my surprise it's Megumi. "Oh hey Megumi. what's up? Do you need something?" 

     We were making full on eye contact "I'm sorry about what I did the other night just leaving." I was a bit shocked at this "Oh um It's ok Megumi, was that it?" he looked like he wanted to say more but he didn't "Yes, goodnight Y/N" "Goodnight Megumi" and with that he left I closed my door and went to bed.

--------Author's POV--------

     "Why can't I just ask her" Megumi said in his mind Megumi was irritated with himself because anytime some talks to Y/N about her other world the spark leaves her eyes but then she put's on a fake face and answer.

   So why couldn't he just ask her what happen in her world to make her so upset with it he wanted to help you look past it and get over it he wanted to make a new spark inside her so she can forget abut her world. But how?...................
