Chapter 5: moving

-marinette's POV-

"Tikki spots on!"

I arrived in New York after about 10 minutes of flying.
I already informed fashion icon I was coming so I had dorm already, I detransformed in an alley and walked to the dorms.
When I walked into my dorm there were 2 girls. One of them had brown hair, green eyes, and was wearing a fashionable green cardigan over a white shirt with some leggings.
The other was blonde, had blue eyes, and was wearing a yellow crop top with jeans that were trending. She kinda reminded me of Chloe. When they saw me the brunette excitedly ran to me and said "OMG HIIIIII! You must be the new girl! We are your dorm mates! I'm Ellie and this is Kami! It's so nice to meet you! What's your name?"
I was startled by her hyper attitude but quickly put on a smile and said "I'm marinette! It's nice to meet you too!"
Kami gave me a shy smile and said "sorry Ellie is so hyper, she was dared to drink 10 cups of coffee and that girl cannot back down from a challenge."
I giggled and said "that explains a lot, so could you guys show me around? I don't really know where anything is."
They gladly agreed and we went on our way. Me and Kami chatted while Ellie went around explaining what things were and also throwing in some gossip about some random people.
When Ellie and Kami finished with the tour we all went back to the dorm to hang out for awhile.
When both of the girls were busy I slipped out my phone and texted Lila,

"I'm gone for good. Adrien is all yours. -M"

"I'm so glad I never have to see your disgusting face again! Bye :) -L"

Of course lila said that, I sighed and turned off my phone.
"Everything okay?" Kami asked after seeing my face.
I cringed and came up with "yup! I just read a sad story that's all."
Both Ellie and Kami looked like they believed none of what I had said but didn't argue with me.
Soon after I fell into a dreamless nap.

Adriens POV:

I am currently staring at a wall and doing nothing.
I don't know why mari left...
Her mom met me at the school and told me some news I never wanted to hear:
"Adrien.....marinette's gone. She left. We don't know where she is, she told us to tell you. You know she cared a lot about y-"
Her voice cracked and she started sobbing "I c-c-can't believe we lost h-her!" She cried.
I ran over to her and gave her a big hug, she hugged me back and I could feel her tears on my shoulder but I didn't say anything.
After Sabine calmed down a little I looked her dead in the eye and said "I will find her no matter what, I promise. I won't stop looking for her until the day I die."
I didn't realize at the time I had tears running down my cheeks.
I also didn't notice the black butterfly maneuvering it's way into sabine's hairpin.
"Hello seeker, I am shadowmoth and I can give you the power to find your daughter all I need is ladybug and cat noir's miraculous." A dark voice said.
"NO DON'T LISTEN TO HIM! HE IS LYING!!" I yelled but it was too late.
"Yes shadowmoth" Sabine said as black and purple surrounded
When she appeared again she was covered in compasses that were all pointing west, (it's supposed to be pointing to New York, correct me if I'm wrong) she had a staff in one hand and handcuffs in the other.
"I'm coming my sweet Marinette!" Seeker screeched as she flew towards America.
