After lila threatens to kill marinette's parents in order to get to Adrien, marinette decides it's time run away from all her problems and restart.
Since this is my first Wattpad and I also am terrible at writing, parts will come out extremely slow...
"Really?!?" I exclaimed excitedly. "So I can go back to Paris as a new person?" Tikki nodded and smiled. "You know the words!" Tikki said happily.
"Tikki, Spots on!"

I smiled and turned into Astrobug and blasted off towards Paris. When I got there I just sat at the Eiffel Tower taking in the beautiful city that gave me everything in the world.
I heard a person land beside me and I blushed slightly expecting it to be Adrien. When I looks beside me I saw a completely different guy that was definitely not Adrien! "Who are you? I thought cat noir was going to be my partner!" I said trying to sound calm.
"Cat Noir retired, I'm cat walker nice to meet you!" He said. I took a second to think things through until I realized, Cat Noir was the only way I could still be with Adrien! Even if he didn't know it was me I could still check up on him. I really have lost Adrien...
I felt a hot tear fall down my cheek as I stared at cat walker. I quickly wiped it away and dashed off saying something about how we needed to start patrol.
I could feel his eyes on my back as I swung away on my yo yo. Luckily there were no Akumas so I started to get ready to blast off back to California. "WAIT!!!" I heard cat walker say behind me.
I froze and slowly turned to face him. "I have a lot of questions and you get to answer them!" He said. I sighed swung towards a balcony. Because of habit I ended up standing on my old balcony.
I looked at cat walker expectantly and he got the hint and started asking questions. "I'm just gonna say them all and we are going to go down the list okay? First of all, who are you? Second, do you know what happened to ladybug? Third, why were you crying earlier?"
I melted onto the floor and stared straight ahead thinking of what to say. After a couple minutes I quietly said "I am coccigirl, I do not know what happened to ladybug, and I am just stressed about my new role and hoped to have a mentor figure helping me."
The only thing I could think about was my only chance of being with Adrien was ruined. I started to think about everything that's been going on and I started crying without realizing it. A couple minutes later I felt cat walker sit next to me. He put an arm around my shoulder and let me cry.
~Adriens POV~
Marinettes replacement is really emotional. I feel bad for her she is probably going through a lot. I'm worried that she is disappointed that it was me. I should have stayed as cat noir so she could get the help she needs without being skeptical.
After a couple minutes of letting coccigirl cry I stood up and said I had to go. I jumped off Marinettes rooftop and flew towards an alleyway near my house. I detransformed and walked towards the entrance of my house. I didn't even realize it was 3 am until it was too late. "ADRIEN WHAT THE HELL!!! I JUST SAW YOU IN YOUR ROOM!! HOW DID YOU GET THERE?!?" Natalie said through the doorbell. "Uhhhhh I went on a walk to clear my mind." I said. "You have to tell your father about these things! Go straight to bed and I don't want to see you out again! Your father is requesting to speak with you in the morning."
I nodded and was let through the gates. I sulked to my room and lates onto my bed. I forgot the last time I talked to my dad was before my identity was revealed 2 days ago. I pulled out my phone and texted the group chat.
Adrien: any news on Mari?
Sabine: no sorry :(
Alix: was there a new ladybug today?
Adrien: how did you know?!?!
Alix: the new ladybug is marinette.
Adrien: WHAT?!?
Ellie: ITS 3 FUCKING AM LET ME SLEEP!!!
Alix: omg
Ellie: Kami just yelled at me. Sorry I am tired.
Alix: ok? Anyways back to business. I heard Marinettes and whoever Tikki was talk and it ended with Tikki saying she can change her appearance and then bam I saw a blonde ladybug run out the door. She didn't even notice me!!!
Adrien: no wonder she was crying a lot. I'm so glad I get to see Mari even if she doesn't know it's me.
Ella: Can we talk later today please and not now?
I fell asleep smiling knowing that I could still see my lady.

I woke up at 5 am and trudged downstairs to eat breakfast. To my surprise father was sitting at the table waiting for me. I slowly sat down at the other end of the table and waited for father to say something. "Adrien, I am disappointed on how much you have lied to me the past year. The fact that you are cat noir AND you had some type of girlfriend without telling me."
I looked down at my plate with a singular carrot on it and said "I'm sorry, it's not like I could just tell you, it's against the rules. Me and the girl you saw me kissing is unable to see me again and I have retired as cat noir and picked my successor." Father looked at me with a face that had pity and sadness written all over it. "I am sorry about you and the girl I can tell you care about her. I must confess I can't believe it was you that I was trying to destr- I can't believe it was you who everyone looked up too. I am impressed by the amount of responsibility you could handle at once. I would like to meet this girl, is there a time she could come for lunch?"
I stared at father in disbelief for a couple of seconds until saying in a quiet voice, "No. I'm afraid you can't see her. It's......complicated." I could feel a tear running down my cheek and I covered my face with my hands and tried to block the tears. A couple seconds later I heard father stand up and sit next to me. He wrapped me in a hug and quietly said "what happened?"
