James' POV

Date: 4/10/2022

I was hanging out with my friends Kole and Michael at AMF Arc Lanes. The Bowling Alley we always go to every Sunday to have fun. It was the Tenth Frame for Me, and I was close to winning. I rolled my bowling ball and landed a strike! I won the game!

James: Whoo!

Kole: 👏🏻. Congratulations, James.

Michael: 👏🏻. That's our friend there.

James: Thanks, guys.

I then took a seat and took a drink of my lemonade.

James: It's nice of you guys to join me today. It's not often that we get to hang out these days. "Especially with COVID going on."

Kole: Yeah. It's because of that damn virus that We had to do that virtual ceremony.

Michael: Let's not forget that we couldn't get into college because it forced over a thousand universities to close. And we couldn't get a job until last year. It takes me two weeks to make a painting with a "deep meaning" behind it. I'm starting to hate my "job" as a Painter.

Kole: Well, I like my job as a Bicycle Mechanic. And James is doing "really" well with his job at Walmart. I heard that you might become the next manager next year. Right, James.

James: Right.

As we talked, I looked at my watch and saw that it was getting close for me to head home. But as I looked at it, I couldn't help but think about it since it was Randy's last gift to Me. "I miss him..."

Kole: James, are you alright?

James: Huh, oh yeah. Sorry about that.

Michael: Thinking about Randy again.

James: "...Yeah." I can't stop thinking about that damn crash that happened.

Kole: James. It's almost been four months since then. I think it's about time to move on.

James: He was my Brother, Kole. I can't move on. Don't forget that he was your friend too.

Kole: I know.

Michael: "James, I'm sure Randy's glad you survived that crash in Heaven." If only that damn Driver "wasn't" drinking that day.

Kole: He got what he fuckin' deserved for being drunk and stupid.

James: Kole, we're talking about a Dead Man here. Don't forget that he also had his Wife and Child in his truck.

Kole: Yeah. An even stupider thing to do when you're drinking and driving. That Little Girl never had a chance of surviving.

Michael: And we still have no idea what happened to his Wife. No one's seen her after the crash. We don't even know if she's even here anymore.

James: Either way, She knows about what happened.

I then looked at my watch and saw that it was about time for me to go home.

James: It's about time for me to head home. Things haven't been well for us since Randy died.

Kole: "Yeah..." Have you heard anything from Charlotte?

James: No. We rarely talk much since Randy died.

Kole: Well, if you see her again. Try to talk to her.

James: I will. I'll see you guys on Wednesday when we watch the third episode of Moon Knight. Bye, guys.
