James' POV

I was waking up to the smell of Lavender, meaning I was in the Velvet Room again.

Igor: Welcome to the Velvet Room.

Margaret: "..."

Marie: Margaret. This is the part where you usually speak whenever James comes in here.

Margaret: 😳 H-Huh?! O-Oh! R-Right. *Coughs* You have sustained and nurtured the bonds you have established. And as a result, you have unlocked new powers.

Five cards appeared when I saw that it was the Five Arcanas that I'd worked hard to obtain during summer break.

Margaret: There's Temperance, Tower, and Death; The Devil, plus the Hermit. I'm amazed you got so many at once.

All five of the cards then went into Margaret's Persona Compendium.

Hermit: Donate to the shrine to temporarily boost your stats during combat.

Death: Medium chance to instakill enemies when attacking with Normal Arrows.

Temperance: Agility is doubled when HP is low.

Devil: Reserve Medical Items.

Tower: Arrow Capacity Increased.

James: *"Whoa..." Now these are going to be helpful in the...! Naoto! Since I was so busy enjoying summer, I'd forgotten that she's the next target because of what she'll learn at Club Escapade! And knowing what'll happen, Yukiko and Rise will blab to her that I was the one who came up with the theory 'Bout "people who are on the news are targeted." If I try to warn her after she pulls her stunt, it'll only tell her that I know something. "...Damn it." "I guess the only thing I can do is be ready for what's coming..."*

Igor: *Chuckles* Well done.

Margaret: The number of bonds you've "already" acquired is "extremely impressive." Your fellowship and your understanding of each other will blossom. And as these bonds continue to strengthen, your powers will "evolve" as well.

James: That's good to hear. "...Say, there's something I've been meaning to ask you, Igor."

Igor: I am all ears.

James: When we first met, you said I was another visitor from another world. Right?

Igor: That I did. Why do you ask?

James: I'm not the first person to be transported to this world, am I?

Igor: You are correct. There was another long before you were summoned here. He was an interesting fellow. And his journey to find himself again was difficult for him, but in the end, he overcame the challenges that awaited him.

James: He? *Did this person's journey begin during Persona 3 or Persona 5?* Did his journey begin at Tatsumi Port Island around 2009?

Igor: Indeed. Why do you ask?

James: This person isn't going to recognize me, will he? I am going there on a trip in one week. And I'm not sure if he knows about The Crash of '21.
