Male Child?: Hey, I found it!
Female Child?: You did?!
Male Child?: Yeah, I found it inside of one of the books.
Female Child?: Thank you! I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't find it.
Male Child?: "Well, that's what friends are for."
Female Child?: F-friends?! "We're friends?"
Male Child?: Hm? Of course, we are. And we'll always be friends. Pinky Promise?
Female Child?: Hehe, isn't that "kind of childish?" "...Okay then." Pinky Promise.
The two of them held out their pinky and made their pinky promise.
James' POV
Date: 04/13/2011
I woke up in my room with Narukami still sleeping in the futon.
James: *Another weird dream? Who were those two kids? Did that even happen? Whatever it is, I can't focus on it too much. "...I've made up my mind." "When Narukami and I watch the Midnight Channel tonight, I'll tell him everything about me and everything else that comes along in the investigation team..." "It'll have holes..." But it's better than lying to them. "Hiding it would only make things worse, and everyone will hate me if I hid such valuable information." I guess it won't be the "most" freakiest thing to them, considering they'll be meeting Teddie tomorrow.*
Narukami and I got ready for school and walked Nanako to school. While we were walking to school, Yosuke was on his bike, riding too fast and crashed, getting stuck in a trash can as he was rolling around.
Yosuke: "S-someone..."
Yu: "Is he okay?..."
James: Feel like helping him today?
Yu: "..." "Yeah, that seems like the right thing to do."
Yu helped Yosuke out of the trash can.
Yu: Hey, Yosuke, right? Are you okay? That looked like it hurt.
Yosuke: "Yeah..." Whew, you saved me. Thanks! "Umm..."
Yu: I'm Yu Narukami. It's nice to "officially" meet you.
Yosuke: Oh yeah, that's right, you're that transfer student. James' cousin, right? I'm Yosuke Hanamura. "Nice to meet ya."
Yu's Choices
- Nice to meet you too.
X - Are you okay?
- Is your bike okay?
Yosuke: Oh yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Say, did you hear about the incident from yesterday? They found that announcer lady hanging from an antenna! "You think it was some kinda warning?" There's no way something that weird could've been an accident.
Yu's Choices
X - You might be right.
- I don't know.
Yosuke: "Dangling a dead body over a roof like that..." "That's just messed up."
James: Then again, it's pretty messed up to kill someone in the first place.
Yu: "Definitely is..."
Yosuke: "Yeah, no kidding..." Oh crap, we better get going; school isn't "gonna" wait for us!
James: Yeah! Let's get moving.
And so, all three of us ran the rest of the way. Luckily, we made it on time.
