So, my class is playing this piece, and our bass player wasn't in class yesterday. Our cellist wasn't playing either, so we only had violins and violas playing. There is a part of the piece where you rest for three counts and then another three measures. My classmates can't count, so every measure they would start playing and stop after one note until me and the other first violins came in. By the time we came in though, we were all laughing so hard. We were laughing and playing at the same time.
Also update: For those who remember my audition post a while back, I made it into the advanced orchestra :)
