When Buying an Instrument

Here's a little story time: So four years ago, I went to buy a new violin. The store gave me two options. I had the option between a $300 used violin, or a $600 brand new violin. I tried both, and the used violin sounded much better than the new one. I bought the used one, and I am still using it to this day (even though I have to buy a new one really soon). New and expensive doesn't necessarily mean better. This is your sign to try a bunch of different instruments before buying one.
