5. Reception

Currently avneet's P.O.V is going on.

Avneet - Ok, mom.

All eats the breakfast. Mom gives gift to me as it was my first rasoi. After breakfast we all goes back to our respective rooms.

I am in my room alone, sid is in bhaiya's room discussing something about business then someone knock at the door.

Avneet - Come in.

Door open and 2 girls enter inside. A girl was holding a beautiful dress, and the other one was holding a make up kit.

Girl - Ma'am, anika ma'am have sent us to make you ready for reception.
Avneet - Umm..ok.

I gets up from there and sits on dressing table. They started with make up, first they did my make up then hair. At last I wear my outfit and heels and get ready. I was observing myself in mirror then room's door open revealing sid. He looks at my reflection in mirror. I also looks at him in mirror. Both girls left and sid enters inside.

Siddharth - You are looking beautiful, avu.

I blush.

Avneet - You are also looking handsome.

Siddharth blush and said - Thanks.

Siddharth - Well, ready?
Avneet - Yeah!
Siddharth - Let's go then.

He said opening the door, we walks out of the room and started walking downstairs.

Siddharth - Media is gonna be there too, so don't be nervous, ok? I'll be there for you.
Avneet - Okay!

We goes downstairs and sees everyone there. Media were there too, I have never faced media before I am quite nervous. First we goes to the stage and clicked pictures with everyone, and we received alot of gifts too. Then media runs towards us.

Reporter - Sir, Mam, first of all congratulations for the wedding.
Siddharth - Thanks.
Reported - Is your marriage an arrange marriage or love marriage?
Avneet - Arr...

Siddharth cuts me in between - It's a love marriage.

I look at him in shocked, he gives me a look I will explain you everything later.

Reporter - Great! When did you guys fall in love?

She asked me. I gets nervous, I have never faced media before, sid noticed this.

Siddharth - Umm..actually I would love to have a dance with my wife.

He said holding my hand and pulling me to the dance floor. He keep his hands on my waist and pull me closer. He interwine our hands together. I keep my one hand on his shoulder and the other one is interwine with his.

Avneet - Thank you.
Siddharth - For what?
Avneet - For saving me from those stupid questions of media.
Siddharth - Anything for you, princess.

I smile seeing his caring behavior. He is really protective.

Avneet - Btw why you told them that our marriage is love marriage?
Siddharth - If I would have told them the truth then they would have asked so many questions like are we both happy with this marriage? Or is this marriage a deal? Are we going to get divorce after some time, and all that shit.
Avneet - Ohk.

After a minute song came to end and we left each other and goes to attend other guest

After the function ended, all guest goes back to their respective homes. We all also goes back to our respective rooms. We enters in our room.

I takes off my jwellery and said - Sid, first I am going to change clothes.

Siddharth - Ok!

I takes my clothes and goes in bathroom. I remove my make up and change my clothes and comes out. Then sid takes his clothes and goes inside and change his clothes and comes out. He walk towards the bed and take pillow and blanket and said - I am going to sleep.

He is a really good guy.

Avneet - Umm...sid.
Siddharth - Hmm?
Avneet - Thanks.
Siddharth - For what?
Avneet - It's your room and...

Siddharth cuts me in between - Our room, it's our room.

Avneet - Umm..ya, I mean it's your room too but still you are sleeping on sofa and letting me sleep on bed. So I wanna thank you for this.
Siddharth - Anything for you, princess.

He said caressing my cheek. He slowly move towards my forehead and placed a long kiss on my forehead and said - Good night.

Avneet - Good night.

He walk towards the sofa and I laid down on bed and slept thinking about sid.

Skips to next day
In morning

I wake up and sees sid sleeping on sofa. Today is my pooja, mom said we all have to wake up early but sid is still sleeping, I will wake him up after I will take shower. I steps out of the bed. I takes my clothes and goes in bathroom. I takes a shower and wear clothes and comes out of the bathroom. I sees sid still sleeping.

I walks towards the sofa and sits down and stare at him. He is looking so cute while sleeping. Few hair strands were coming on his face, I gently remove them. I was busy in admiring him then an idea came in my mind.

My hairs are wet, water is dropping from my hairs. I dropped few drops of water on his face from my hairs. After few seconds he wake up, he keep his hands on my waist and pull me closer. I landed on him.

Avneet - Sid what are you doing?
Siddharth - Good morning, love.

I blush and said - "Good morning".

Few hair strands were coming on my face, he remove them from his hand. We were looking into each other's eyes then I breaks the eye contact.

Avneet - Get ready, sid, today is pooja at home.

He looks at the watch and said - Love, it's 5 in the morning.

Avneet - Sid, we need to help in work also.
Siddharth - You go, I'll sleep for some more time.
Avneet - Sid, get up.
Siddharth - And I am not coming to this pooja.
Avneet - Why?
Siddharth - Come on, princess, I don't do this pooja and all.
Avneet - But sid...

He cuts me in betweem - Avu please.

I give him an angry look, he rolled his eyes and said - Fine, I am going to take shower. But I am still not attending this pooja.

Avneet - We'll see this.

He leaves me and gets up from sofa. He takes his clothes and goes in bathroom. I goes downstairs to make and sees bhabhi.

Avneet - Good morning, bhabhi.
Vaishnavi - Good morning, avu.
Avneet - Is everything done?
Vaishnavi - Ya, almost. Rangoli is left.
Avneet - I'll make it.
Vaishnavi - Great, then I'll look for other things.
Avneet - Okay!

I takes colour and sits on floor and started making rangoli. After making it I helped bhabhi in other thing. After sometime everyone were in hall except sid.
