"To the left!"
I shouted as his dagger shot out from behind me. This is dizzying.
It landed square into the cloaked enemy's chest. I ducked and kicked the next one legs out from under them.

The clack of bones sounded out from the opposite end of the bridge.
Not now!
Their ashen shrieks of war came up. Dream whipped around.
"Keep them busy Y/N!"
I unhinged my blades on my arms.
"Shut up Dream! I know what I'm doing!"

I tried to settle my stomach down. I bent down and placed my fingers onto the ground. The enemy soldiers formed a solid wall of defence, their shields up. I smiled and jolted into a full on sprint to them. A foot away I pushed myself off the ground. I focused my body to twist. I spun around and slammed into their ranks.

The spinning top. Four of their soldiers were down. The smell of blood and the iron running into my mask.
Ew.
A sword jabbed at my side and I elbowed straight into their jaw.

"Don't let her go!"
"Keep her surrounded! Get her partner!"
Shoot.
My heart was dropping. I coughed. My head was getting dizzy.
"What...scared of a girl?"

I sneered. The soldiers grunted. Always rely on the pride of men. Spears lowered at me. My head was spinning.
I need something to eat. Or drink. Or sleep.
I shook it out. They moved at once to impale me. I jumped up and landed on a raised shield. An arrow whizzed past me.

I leaped up and latched onto the windowsill of the nether tower of the fortress.
My arms started slipping.
Not now!
I pushed my aching muscles to pull me up. I crashed onto the brick floor. Another arrow hit the brick close to the window.

I just...need to...
I could hear their footsteps approaching.
Get to...Dream...
My chest was heaving, I knew I needed to get up but my body wasn't responding.

I hazily stepped up onto the window. The scorch of lava hitting my face.
"Stop thief!"
I turned to face them. Gold armour. Black clothes.
"Hey guys...beautiful view from here."

I casually said, trying to focus my mind.
"Deathly Daughter of the SMP! We will not allow for our kingdom to be fooled! Hand over what is ours and we will spare you!"
The Head soldier declared. The rest of them banged their shields in agreement.

I heard the shatter of bones. My veins vaguely glowed and my energy again dropped.
This dumbass! Does he want me dead?
"Listen guys you don't want to do this. Trust me."
Already their faces contorted with worry from the golden glow.

But their spear heads still raised to me. I shrugged and stepped right into the edge of the window. The lava bubbling below me.
"Alright have it your way."
I smiled.
"MASK!"

I shouted and jumped out the window toward the lava.
