song: chase atlantic - moonlight

I'm not sure how to feel about meeting up with Kaden. I don't even know what went wrong with us. We clicked immediately and spent a really good day together, then the next day he was cold to me. It's actually ridiculous.
I'm currently doing school work that Mrs. Hart assigned us. Her homework never makes sense. We are supposed to do some lame research, and I suck at research.
I close my laptop and slide out of my chair. I will do this tomorrow. I check the time and it reads 7:15pm - just great. This project took me three hours, yet I'm still not even half way done.
I washed my hair after coming home from school, so now all I have to do is apply some products that are made for wavy hair. Then I wonder if I should perhaps look cute, or just go in some sweats.
I search up Palma Rooftop and see it's a fancy place. I literally never know how to dress for the occassion, but you can never go wrong with a summer dress. I throw on a pastel yellow dress with a bow in the middle. I've maybe worn it once or twice before. I really don't have time to retouch my makeup, so whatever I have on, will have to do.
I grab a small white clutch bag and pack it with a debit card, lipgloss and car keys. I lock the front door behind me and head down with the elevator.
I get to my car and sit inside. After putting it into drive mode, I drive out of the garage. When I searched this place up on maps, I saw it's a pretty long drive. This man had all of these options in LA and he chose a place that's thirty-five minutes away.
However I love evening drives, so I'm not even that upset with Kaden. The sun is going down and the scenery is to die for.
I arrive to my destination pretty fast as it definitely didn't take thirty-five minutes like the app said.
I park my car in the small parking lot in front of the building, grab my things then leave the car. There's music playing from very high above. I look up and the sky is so beautiful. Birds are gliding through the sky and the light breeze from the trees is making its way around me.
I see a worker standing in front of a door, so I assume this is the main entrance. I greet him and he opens the door for me. The interior is modern with lots of brown details, practically my style.
Turning my head to the right, I see a sign that tells me to take the elevator eleven floors up in order to get to the rooftop bar.
Once I get out on the patio, I'm met with laughter coming from the left corner, where some girls seem to be having the best time of their lives.
A waiter comes up to me. "Hello, may I ask for your name for your reservation?" he asks, holding a set of notes in his hand.
"Nora King," I answer briefly. He looks down on his notepad and furrows his eyebrows. He looks up into my eyes, slightly confused.
Then I hear footsteps approach me. "Torres. She's with me," someone behind me says and I recognize the voice immediately.
The waiter in front of us nods and walks away. I turn around on my heels and all I see is a large torso. As I look up, I see his eyes smiling down at me. Then he speaks up.
