If you want my opinion on waking up as a girlfriend, I can tell you it feels freaking amazing. My head is clear, my skin is smooth and my hair is silky. What more could I ask for? All of this pent up tension must have seriously messed me up, but now that I can finally call him mine , everything is suddenly better.

It is currently seven in the morning, which is horrible, but that's because Kai is an early bird and we have to set up a surprise for him, since it's his 25th birthday.

I swapped my sleepwear for a white tank top and a light blue floral skirt, to look somewhat put together.

Entering the lounge, I can already see my brother's girlfriend Cam setting up birthday decoration. She really went all out. Blue tinsel and silver ribbons are marking the fireplace as well as walls and there's a giant helium filled '25' floating in the middle.

Suddenly I am able to smell something sweet coming from the kitchen that is connected to the lounge. I take a few steps to my right where I can see Elias adding final touches to a cake. I knew he could bake, but this smelled top tier.

"Hey there, what kind of cake is that?" I ask curiously.

"Oh, morning Nora. It's a cinnamon cake with white chocolate filling," he replies, sounding proud.

"It smells and looks bomb!" I squeal. "Can I help you decorate it?" I ask.

"Absolutely, I'm actually struggling with the toppings," Elias answers. I suggest we could put rafaellos around the corners and some orange slices on one side. He listens to me and as the final touch, he sticks two number candles right into the middle. "I think it looks great," he finishes.

"It really does!" I praise and help him put the cake on a glass stand. Elias then excuses himself to the bathroom and Camila just finished putting up all of that tinsel. I reach for my phone so I can set it up on the counter and record Kai's reaction, when all of a sudden strong arms wrap themselves around my waist. I let out a smile gasp.

"Good morning, baby." A very soft spoken voice says. Before I can turn my head around, a lopsided smile grows big on my face.

"I could get used to this," I chuckle as I finally place a peck on Kaden's cheek.

"Oh, you better," he teases and kisses me back. I fully turn around to give him a hug, but I break it a few seconds later as I hear footsteps coming toward us.

"I hope you guys start to hate each other. It's too early for this cute shit." A messy haired Lilly comments as she covers up her yawn with her hand. Thank God it's just Lilly.

"It's nice to hear those words after one day of being together," I chuckle as I roll my eyes and rest my head on Kaden's bicep.

"Shut up, you're dating?" she whisper yells and pretends to be shocked. "It was about damn time anyway."

"I agree with you there," Kaden says and I look up at him slightly unamused. "What? She is," he protests with a smirk.

"Could've asked me sooner," I fight.

"Would you've said yes?" he teases.
