Chapter Eleven

William stretched and sat on the edge of the bed before looking at the beauty he pleasured last night. He still hadn't seen her fully naked but he didn't mind, he'd let her take her time.

"William...it's too early..." Evelyn mumbled and stretched out her hand "come back to bed..."

"I wish I could, but I need to get back to my room unnoticed" he sadly smiled and brushed some hair from her face "I'll come again tonight"

"wait" She sat up and moved to straddle his waist "can't we do it now?"

"Have I accidentally awoken a demon? One to tempt me" William smirked and lifted her shift just enough so she could seat herself comfortably on his lap "It seems we may not need to wait until tonight"

Evelyn giggled slightly and nuzzled into his neck "well maybe I need soothing"

He bit his lip and brought her into a kiss "then you shall be"

Evelyn fell back against the pillows of her bed with a small but noticeable smile on her face. The feel of William's seed between her legs had become a welcome one over the past two days. Unfortunately he had to leave to attend his soldiers, she didn't mind. She trusted him. Although she was reliant on William, she now had Johan to help her, her oldest and dearest friend. But it had been clear from childhood that he did indeed have feelings for her and it clearly had not changed.

She let out a small relived sigh and hugged the pillow which William laid his head on "Evelyn, it's Johan can I come in?"

Evelyn quickly adjusted her clothing and covered herself with the coverlet "Of course!"

The door opened, Johan walked in and closed it behind him "morning sleepy head" he smiled and sat down on the edge of the bed "how did you sleep?"

"Perfectly" she smiled and sat up, covering herself with the coverlet to stop any chance of him seeing her cleavage.

"Now, I was thinking-"

"did it hurt?"

"terribly, but would you like to come in a picnic with me at dinner?"

Evelyn nodded, she hadn't any plans with William "Alright" she smiled and looked over to the side, then she saw William's pocket watch. Oh he must have left it by accident.

"Alright" he nodded and let out a shaky breath "Right, I'll go and leave you to get dressed"

"Alright" she watched as he stood up and left the room. Evelyn picked up his golden pocket watch and traced the engravings. Like clockwork, William entered the room and walked over towards her "You left this" she sat up and gave him the watch "its pretty"

William smiled and kissed her cheek "people usually try and steal that"

"I'm no thief" She cupped his cheek gently and ghosted her fingers over his lips "at dinner, Johan wants me to go on a picnic with him"

He clearly bit the inside of his cheek at those words "Oh...right of course" William mumbled and looked down at his hands "I- erm...hope you enjoy yourself"

Evelyn got up and sat on her knees "I'd rather spend that time with you though...some much needed alone time maybe?"

"A full day?" William nuzzled into her touch and kissed her fingertips "I'd like to get to know you better, it'd be nice to know your past"

"may I know yours?"

"Very well, tomorrow we shall discuss our pasts and favourite colours if you want"

"why not today?"

"Yes well that's what I wanted to discuss, I need to deliver a message, I'll be back by sundown"
