After a few hours of playing around and catching some waves, both Sarah and Vinnie were exhausted. Vinnie slumped on Sarah's shoulder as they both trudged towards their tree to get their extra clothes needed to change into. Sarah just shrugged Vinnie off like he was an annoying bit of weight and Vinnie dramatically slumped into the ground, looking like an ostrich when their heads are buried in the ground.

"Vinnie quit playing around, I know you are exhausted and so am I, so let's quickly change and get something to eat," Sarah stated.

"Ughhhhhh, you're such a mom. I pity those kids who come to the clinic and get you to check up on them," Vinnie groaned as he scrunched his nose in disgust. He brought himself up and onto his feet like a wounded, battered soldier.

"Tch, so dramatic," Sarah muttered as she reached the tree and got her clothes.

After a long shower, Sarah came out to see Vinnie waiting for her by the tree, busy on his phone. At least, this time he buttoned his shirt. It had saved Sarah from the constant blushing.

"Oh look, mom's finally out," Vinnie sneered as Sarah completely ignored him. Taking out her phone, she started searching for the restaurant she had planned to take Vinnie to. Sarah, despite her meticulous planning for the trip, realised that only a freaking fast-food restaurant was the only eatery they had nearby.

"See? This is what happens when you plan too much. Relax sweetheart, just let life tell you where to eat."

After a slogging from Sarah, both Vinnie and Sarah got their meals-a typical fast-food meal consisting of burger, fries and a soft drink. Both ravenous with hunger, wolfed down their food.

The sun was already setting as the early twinkling of the stars began to appear in the sky. They decided to head back to their car when Sarah pulled Vinnie to the big rock. They both sat down by the edge of the rock, hand in hand, something which both had unknowingly done. Their feet lingered in the air, ocean waves crashing against the rock beneath their feet. The beautiful glow of warm colours, ranging from red to orange to a light shade of yellow provided a certain calmness to the atmosphere.

There was silence again as they both took in each other's company. The only sounds were of the crashing waves. Sarah's eyes skimmed through the turquoise green water, to the breaking waves. In the gentle breeze, she felt as if she were swimming in the briny aroma as if the rays of the sunset brought a frisson of energy to her fingertips. The serenity was enough to keep her eyes open as if they were an old fashioned camera, remaining still while the image developed. They brought their high notes to the percussion of pebbles at the shoreline.

Vinnie watched the sea, lost in the rhythmic percussion of waves on sand. His eyes were steady to the horizon, face aglow with the last orange rays before twilight beckoned the stars. His lips bore the semblance of a smile, just enough to show that he was enjoying his thoughts, whatever they may be. Sarah moved closer so that he felt her presence, yet stayed quiet, allowing him to stay lost in the moment a while longer.

"I enjoyed our trip today Vinnie, although you tried to fucking kill me, it was really fun hanging out with y-" Sarah broke the silence only to be interrupted by Vinnie.

"If we kill all our enemies over there, will we finally be free?" Vinnie recited the iconic freedom punchline by Eren Yeager, mimicking Eren's action of pointing to the sea, letting the wind blow his hair to the back.

"Oh my fucking god are you serious?" Sarah groaned in annoyance. She knew Vinnie liked Attack On Titan but so much to ignore her? Vinnie looked at her and laughed. Sarah turned away from Vinnie angrily, crossing her arms. Vinnie lay his head on her shoulder as she shrugged him off.
