So, Jade and the three disciples are now traveling.

Where's Tang, why are they traveling?

Well to answer your questions Wukong destroyed the sacred tree and released the demon ancestor, Yuandi. They have three days to either destroy the monster or capture him, or Wukong will be trapped back under a mountain.

So our heros are traveling to both fight a demon and rescue their master, who got kidnapped by said demon.

The four stopped near a cherry blossom tree, well Jade and Wukong did.

Pigsy flopped over in exhaustion, and Sandy went to get him up. While those two were talking, Jade decided to talk to her friend.

"Don't try to talk me out of doing this." He hissed, knowing what she wanted to talk about.

"Even if I tried you wouldn't listen, and if I tried to get in your way you'll beat me to a pulp." He looked to the woman, shocked that she's not even gonna try stopping him.

"I just worry about you, you're sacrificing your freedom for your master's. Which brings me to a question. If demons don't have hearts, how do you care for your master so much?" The monkey was shocked at her words, no one was concerned about him like this, even if he can take on the heavenly army.

Wukong was about to answer, when Pigsy's screaming was heard behind them.

The two ran over to see a small ball of white smoke.

Wukong kneeled down to get a better look at the thing, Jade stayed behind him curious about the little thing.

"Where did you come from? Tell me demon or I'll beat the answer out of you." With that the little ball launched itself in the air and transformed into a, living Jin-Sang fruit?

The little thing used a leaf as a parachute to land safely on its head. The little fella looked around before sitting upright. He yawned and felt the leaf cape that was his parachute.

"That feels so good." The little one giggled before looking at the four confused beings. "What kind of monster are you?"

Jade looked at Wu-Jing. "I don't think he's a monster, even if he is wouldn't he attack us by now?" The fruit stood up and started to explain. "She's right, I'm not a monster. I am the vital spirit."

Jade looked confused at the innocent looking creature. "Vital spirit?"

He nodded and did a little spin. "Yes, I am the vital spirit. I can capture Yuandi again, and seal him away."

Wukong stepped forward to the spirit and kneeled down again. "So your the spirit under the tree that sealed Yuandi?"

"I am, you've heard of me?" The monkey held out his hand too the spirit and the little thing jumped onto it. "You're not a demon after all. But the rest of us are, you're not afraid of us?"

Jade did take some offense from being called a demon even if she isn't. The spirit sat lotus style in the monkey's palm, and folded his hands in a prayer position. "There are six realms of rebirth.."

The others started to follow suit with folding their hands, but Wukong flicked the spirit off his hand and into a bush. The monkey stretched and yawned before saying,

"Vital spirit? Heh, nothing but a Jin-Sang fruit fairy." He walked over to a clear patch of dirt and knocked on it.

Jade kinda knew what he was doing but stood close too the monkey king.

"Yuandi, where are you hiding?!" He reached into the earth, and pulled out a small old looking earth deity. "Ow ow ow! Take it easy! Great sage! I just live off the border of long Jeminy (going off what I hear) mountain, why'd you have to drag me back here?!"

Jade answered with a question. "Why were you running away?"

"Because young lady, the great sage released Yuandi odviously! I'm going to lose my life if I don't leave now!" Wukong then interrupted. "Talk! Where is Yuandi hiding?!"

The little deity answered quickly, not to anger the monkey demon. "This area is under control of the mountain deity, he knows everything that happens around here."

Wukong then threw the earth deity a few feet in front of them. "Go on, bring him here to me."

The earth deity got up and answered back. "He's a deity with his own temple, he won't listen too a minor deity like me!"

Jade stepped forward this time, and asked quickly and kindly. "Can you at least tell us where his temple is, so we can talk too him?"

The red head was answered with a nod and directions. "The mountain deity lives on Wu-Fu peak. Great sage, Yuandi must be hiding somewhere dark and gloomy to regain his stamina. The vital spirit that once trapped Yuandi has taken on a human form, if you can get his help then..!"

Wukong then kicked the small deity about a mile away from Jade's perspective. "Old age is rotting your mind. No way that fruit fairy can seal him."

Sandy then stepped forward with a book in hand. "Big brother, it's all right here in the book. A disciple of the Buddha made the great sacrifice and expelled his vital spirit as chi, in order to seal Yuandi in a frozen land."

The others gathered around and listened to the fish man.

Jade went over to the bush where the spirit was flung and got him out.

They continued traveling after that, to save the monk and seal the demon ancestor away.
