Quidditch

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

"Harry, this is Oliver Wood. (Y/n), this is Marcus Flint. Oliver is the Gryffindor captain. Marcus is the Slytherin captain".

Both looked quite happy to have found new seekers and Oliver turned to us."Ever seen a game of Quidditch?". Me and Harry shook our heads. They looked us over and both nodded. Marcus wasn't really a talker and Oliver was the total opposite. "They both have the build for seekers as well. I'd say a nimbus 2000 or a clean sweep 7."

Proffesor McGongall nodded and smiled. "You're father would have been proud of you both." She suddenly turned stern. "You boys better work hard or I'll start thinking about expulsion." Her face softened and she smiled again. I'll see you lot later. I want want hear good reports.

I'd been offered to sit at the Gryffindor table with Harry Ron and Hermione. The three had became friends quite fast and they were both shocked to hear we were seekers. "Blimey. You must be the youngest to be on the team in about a-"

"Century" I cut him off with a nod. "Wood told us" Ron looked even more shocked as I told him. Surprisingly Hermione hadn't really said much about the situation. Just as I was about to plate some food, Fred and George came up behind us.

"Congrats on making the team Harry, Wood told us. We play as beaters" They turned to me. "I guess we'll have tough competition this year" Fred winked before they walked off to go find a seat.

A group of three took Fred and Georges place. Only instead of congratulating us, it was just Draco with a horrible smirk on his face. "Enjoy the muggle world you two. You won't have to try hard to fit in." Draco, Crabbe and Goyle laughed before Harry cut in.

"You're a lot braver with your goons around". They all stopped and Draco shrugged. "I could take you on. Wizard duel at midnight should make me right. The trophy room is always unlocked so meet me there."

He turned and left. "(Y/n) is your second if anything goes wrong." I nearly choked on my pumpkin juice as I turned to Ron. "You what?"

Ron laughed quietly. "Obviously nothing will go wrong. A second takes the first person's place if they get seriously injured. Or die" He said it as if it wasn't anything to worry about.

I checked my watch to see it read half past 11. And I threw some clothes on and looked around the dorm. Draco wasn't in his bed so he must already be walking to the trophy room. I met up with Ron, Harry and Hermione. Who got locked out of Gryffindor Common room and hadn't shut up about us breaking the rules about being out after curfew. When we showed up, Draco wasn't anywhere to be seen. "But he wasn't in his bed? I checked our bathroom as well."

We all jumped as Neville walked in. "I followed you because I forgot the password" He said sheepishly as we beckoned him over. Ron sighed and slapped his arms against his sides. "He's late. Maybe he chickened out"

Just after he spoke, we heard a noise, followed by a person talking. It definitely wasn't Draco. "Sniff around my dear. They should be around here somewhere." Shivers ran down my back as I recognised Filtch's voice. We all ran down a corridor filled with suits of armour. Neville let out a frightened squeak and started to run. He tripped over and collided with Ron which sent all the armour flying.

"Run!" I shouted as we all legged it to the Gryffindor Common room. They all went in and I continued running to the Slytherin Common room. "Pureblood" I chocked out. The bricks moved aside and I stared at Draco who was sat on the sofa next to a brightly lit fire. He looked up at me shocked. I had no thoughts running through my head as I walked towards him.

I drew my fist back and swung as hard as I could. My hand connected with the side of his face and he yelled while his head snapped to the side. Leaving him there, I quickly walked up to my dorm, that I realised we shared anyways, and got dressed to go to sleep.

Tomorrow was going to be fun...
