Plans and Exams

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I'd gotten through at least half of my exams by now but this one was the worst one so far. The room we were in was far too hot and I'd just about forgotten most of the revision I'd done over the last week or so.

Finally the hour was over and everyone rolled up their pieces of parchment and cheered as it was the last exam. They now had a week off before getting the exam results. I met Harry, Ron and Hermione outside the classroom before we headed out to the lake.

"That was easier than I thought" Hermione chirped as we slumped onto a tree on the side of the lake. "Cheer up you two." Ron mumbled while he watched the weasley twins tickle the Giant squid that was basking in the shallow waters. I shook my head as Harry burst out, "My scar keeps hurting!" I nod before adding, "Mine does too."

Ron shrugged, "Maybe go to Madam Pomfrey?" I rubbed my chin before shaking my head. "I'm not ill. It feels like a warning?" Harry jumped up. "We need to see Hagrid. Isn't it weird how he wants a dragon over anything else and a stranger turns up that just so happens to have one?" He ran off leaving us lot to sprint after him. He was already banging his fist on the door as we got there.

"Hagrid!" He said as the half giant opened the door. "The stranger that gave you the egg. What did he look like?" Hagrid let us in before shrugging. "Dunno. He had 'is hood up the whole time. It's usual down at the pub I went ter."

"What did you tell him then?" I questioned before sitting at the table. He shrugged again. "Just the usual. That I was gamekeeper here. Told him I'd always been interested in dragons and tha'. He was quite interested in Fluffy. I mean who wouldn't be interested in a three-headed dog. Told him the same I told yer. Bit of music and he'll fall straight to sleep."

Harry bolted out with us three following him again. "Where yer goin now!?" Hagrid yelled at us after the sudden bolt.

We stormed into Proffesor McGongall's classroom and she dropped her quill as the doors flung open. "What is the meaning of this?" Her eyes crossed over us with a confused expression. "Dumbledore. We need to see him. Where is he?" Harry panted. "Well he's gone on ministry business."

He shook his head. "That means he'll probably go down there tonight." He muttered, his hand on his chin, deep in thought. "We'll have to go down there before he does."

"What's going on Mr. Potter?" Proffesor McGongall toom a serious tone as she faced all of us. "It's about the Sorcerer's Stone. Someone's going to take it tonight!" Harry spluttered and she shook her head. "Of course it won't be stolen. No one knows the things guarding it except for the teachers so nobody is getting past it."

With no other explanation we took off back from the direction we came from and ran up to the library. "We go down tonight. We both have cloaks so Hermione and Ron you'll go together and Me and Harry will go together." As I said the plan for tonight I could see a small pink tinge on both Ron and Hermione's faces. I nearly laughed at the sight of them but they both agreed quickly and everything was settled.
