19. Escalation

"Stop playing and come with us blood blade!!" the officer says again. My gaze wanders over Kizaru and the dozens of soldiers in front of me. They are all mostly officers... This is not normal. That is, they either have a very high 'animal' on board or...

My mood immediately changes and some of the officers go back a bit. "Why do you get excited about blood blades? Just be good and come with us." Kizaru now interferes. "You'd probably like that, yellow monkey. You know, as soon as THEY set foot on this island, that I will kill them! No matter who is there!" I explain threateningly. At the same moment, I see from the corner of my eye how a single ship sails towards us.

"Take the kids away! There will definitely be a bloodbath here!" Luna orders the residents. Immediately, the residents get moving and bring the children to safety. Luna is smart and she seems to have seen the symbol on the ship as well. How I hate these people! Luna hates her as much as I do.

"If you touch them, we have to turn you off here immediately." Kizaru says calmly. "No. My island. My rules! Even these imaginary dinghy brakes have to stick to it!" I counter to him. We both know that I'm right and there's nothing he can do about it. "Then we have to increase your bounty again and even more people will hunt you down. You will have absolutely no peace and quiet." he continues. "More than the Navy, 2 yonkos, slave traders, rookies and other pirates? Never mind. I will continue anyway. I am persecuted and hunted anyway. If you want to increase my bounty, how many of them are on board?" I ask now in more detail. After all, I'm curious who my increased bounty will attract. At the moment it is 2.7 billion Berry.

However, Kizaru does not answer me. Typical. Then in the old-fashioned way.

"200 million Berry?"

No answer from him.

"500 million Berry?"

Again, no answer. So there are more than 2 on board. The closer the ship gets, the more restless the officers become. They probably thought I was just surrendering without an uprising.

My crew knows what's going on, they have already reacted superbly. They evacuated all the children and gathered. The pirates, however, watch curiously. They know not to interfere.

"I want him there! He makes a good toy! Maybe he can stand more than the last one!" announces an arrogant boy. "I want the woman there! She has cat ears!! How do you think she reacts when I cut them off?" asks a girl. She points her finger at Luna. From Luna I hear a quiet but threatening growl. Even Penguin curses quietly and issues death threats. But Law holds him back. It's better that way.
