When we got back, the first thing the boys wanted to do was go to Julie's room. I kept protesting, but it was pointless. Eventually, I went with them. I had to keep an eye on them somehow. They're three teenage boys going into a teenage girl's room. I have to babysit them.
The three of them started to rummage through her stuff. I tried to warn them about how pissed Julie was going to be, but it was no use. I just sat on the floor, waiting to be proven right. Alex was trying to pick up a picture, Reggie was making a snow angel on the bed and Luke was trying to open a box. I had a feeling that this was very personal, so I yelled at him. I had a feeling this was similar to my hiding spots. There's one I have had from the start that not even Luke nor Grace knew about. Speaking of, I have to check that everything is still in them soon.
Julie walked in. She looked at me in shock. I just put my hands up in surrender. After all, I had nothing to do with this. 'What are you doing in my room?'
'We were looking for the kitchen?'
'No, you weren't! You three wanted to come in here and snoop! I only came to try and keep you out of trouble, but no one ever listens to me! I told you never to go through a woman's stuff!' I said as I stood up and stayed next to Julie.
She hugged me and whispered a thank you in my ear. She pulled away and looked at the boys. 'This, this can't happen. It's creepy. Get off my bed, please.' Reggie jumped off and sat on a chair at the end of her bed.
'Hey, Julie? What's in the box?' Luke asked. I should have expected this, he always was too nosey for his own good.
'I thought I told you to leave it?' I asked in a threatening way.
'That's off-limits.'
'Oh. Oh, ok. Girl stuff.'
'Oh, like butterflies and glitter?'
'For once, why can't you three leave her alone? She has been through enough, we are just making things worse for her! And, seriously, Reggie? That's the first thing that came to your mind?'
'Oh, come on. I'm sorry about them.' Alex tried to apologise.
'It's none of your business.' She snapped back. 'And yes, there might be some glitter.' Reggie smiled at me, I just glared at him. He knows better than to piss me or one of my friends off.
At that moment, Alex finally managed to pick up the picture. 'Hey! I actually picked something up.'
'Alex, put, that, down!' I scolded him. It slipped from his fingers. Luckily, it landed on the bed.
'I dropped it.'
'Well done, Captain Obvious!'
'Is that your mom?' Luke asked, coming up from behind the drummer.
'Yes, and it's my favourite picture of us. You break it, I'll break you!' She said, moving the photo.
'Ok, well, sorry because we're kind of unbreakable at this point.'
'Not to me you're not! Julie, I will happily beat them if you want!' The boys all shot me a hurt look.
'Thanks, I'll keep that in mind! But, I don't get it. You guys can mess up my bed, pick up your instruments, but you can't pick up other stuff?'
'I know, right? It's hard. But for some reason, our instruments; easy.'
'Yeah, like super easy.' Reggie agreed. 'Oh, and check out what I learned today.' He stood up and held his hands out. His bass poofed into his hands, instantly pushing him back down again. I couldn't help but giggle at him. He's trying so hard for so little result to happen. He smiled up at me, making me turn back to Julie.
