"Tonight is Megan and Becky's final matches with the national team." Korra says. "Then Becky will join the coaching staff as the center-backs coach."
"So Ash is your goalkeeping coach, Ali's your outside-backs coach, Becky's your center-backs coach, Kaiya's your Midfielder/Assistant Coach." I say. "What about your forwards Coach?"
"I'll probably work with the forwards the most during positional drills or have Kaiya put the midfielders and attackers together." Korra says. "Or I'll hire someone."
"Oh." I say then I notice a piece of paper in my sisters hand. "What's this?"
"It's the stadium list for the 2023 World Cup in Spain and Portugal." Korra says then she shows me the list.

"Cool." I say then I notice the two teams coming out of the tunnel for the pre-match shit.
Once Colombia and the US are on the field, Becky and Rapinoe have their pre-match retirement ceremony thing.
My sister told me before the game that US Soccer told Becky and Megan that they'd have to have their retirement ceremony at the same game.
If it was up to Korra, she would have given each of them their own game during the November friendlies.
Once Becky and Megan's ceremonies are over, the national anthem of Colombia plays.
When the American anthem plays, I, along with most everybody on the team, drop down to a knee.
After my military career, and all the bullshit that's happened the past couple years in this country, I don't think I'll ever stand for the anthem again.
Only time I think I'll stand is if I'm in my military uniform.
Even then I might not.
"Why are you looking at Julie like that?" Kiara mumbles.
"Because If her sister was alive." I mumble as I watch Julie stand for the anthem. "Those two would be having a long conversation."
My wife Lauren and I we're one of the military members that Colin Kaepernick consulted when he wanted to start his protest.
