Kida's POV

"In ya go." I say as I open the passenger door of my truck then Bear jumps into the passenger seat.

Once Bear's in my truck, I shut the passenger door then I walk around to my side of the truck and get in.

After I'm in the car, I shut the door, turn on the car, then I look at my

"Think she'll like it Bear?" I ask as I open the velvet box I just received then my dog and I look at the contents of the box.

Bear yips then she licks my face.

"I think so too." I say then I shut the box and put it in my pocket. "Now how about we go get a treat."

Bear barks and spins in her seat then she sits down

"I'll take that as a yes." I say then I back out of the parking spot and drive over to the closest Sonic Drive-In.

Once at Sonic, I order a grape slush for me and a pup cup for Bear

I may be 32 years old, but I'm never gonna be too old for a slushy.

After I have Bear and I's order, I hold Bears cup while she licks the whip cream out of it then, once she's done, I drive us back home to the ranch.

A very long drive later, we arrive back at the ranch then we continue on for ten minutes into the ranch until we get to the compound

"Home sweet Home Bear." I say.

Bear softly woofs as we enter the compound then I close the gate behind us as we drive to our home.

Once we get home, I park my truck under the protective carport I had installed in the drive way for my truck.

After I'm parked, I get out of the car, get Bear out of my car, then I get the things I bought while out and about in LA today.

"I'll just leave that there." I mumble as I look at my truck bed that's full of deer feed then I head inside my home with Bear.

Once inside, I grab the two pictures of Lauren I had framed today then I put them on the kitchen island for now and look at them.
