Kida's POV

"So why are all these teams in Canada again?" I ask as I look at the list of groups for the Women's Hockey tournament here in Canada.

"One of the hockey federations is putting on a pre-olympic tournament as a warm-up tournament." Emma says as she drives through the streets of Toronto, Ontario.

"Oh." I say. "I hope the hockey players like my idea."

"They will." Talia says.

"Kida this is actually so cool." Emma says. "And way overdue."

"True." I say then Emma pulls up to the hotel where we're meeting some ladies.

Once Emma parks, we get out with her and I's service dogs, gather our stuff, then myself, Emma, Talia, Shadow, and Bear head into the hotel.

When we get inside the hotel, Emma does the talking at the front desk then we get told where we're going.

"Thank you." Emma says then she leads all of us down to the conference room where we'll be having our meeting.

Once in the conference room, Emma, Talia, and I set up for our meeting.

Just as we finish setting up, the captains and alternate captains for each of the 24 teams competing in the tournament arrive.

Once everyone is sat down, I have everyone sign NDA's then I begin my spiel.

"Hello everyone." I say. "My name's Kida Collins and as you may have heard, I did in fact buy the NWHL."

After I introduce myself I run through my spiel on how I, and my rich female friends around the country are gonna revamp the NWHL and create the best women's hockey league in the world.

All the owners of the NWHL teams are now my rich billionaire friends who are women.

"...I know that was a lot of info so do you all have any questions?"

"How many players on the rosters?" Marie-Philip Poulin asks.

"23 players on a roster." I say. "And for the first season there will be a 50 million dollar salary cap."

"How many teams?" Kendall Coyne Schofield asks.

"24 teams in the entire league to begin with." I say. "But expansion is definitely gonna happen."

"When will the season take place?" Amanda Kessel asks.

"From October to June." I say. "You'll play each team 3 times then you play the 5 other teams in your division a fourth time for a total of a 74 game regular season."

"And the play offs?" Hilary Knight asks.

"The play offs will be the top 3 teams in each division to make up the top 6 seeds in the two conference then the best two remaining teams from each conference will make up the 7th and 8th seed in the playoffs." I say. "So 8 teams per conference."
