I laughed as Adonis shoved his whole ice cream cup into his face.

"Babe help him. Where's his spoon?" I said taking another scoop of my ice cream

We were spending the day together as a family and Azriel made sure ice cream was one of our stops.

"He's definitely gonna be up all night with all this sugar." Adonis shook his head "So I'm thinking about completely switching out the chairs for the ch-"

"Ugh." Me and Azriel groaned simultaneously

"Please can we not talk about the church for this one day?" Az said

"Fine." He laughed "But you guys know this church is a big part of this family. Eventually it'll be passed down to you Azi."

"No thank you." She smiled and i chuckled

"How's school going?"

"Slow, Thankfully it'll be summer in just a few more weeks. I kinda want to try and get a summer job."

"You don't wanna hang out with your mom no more?" I dramatically pouted

"I do mommy but I want to make my own money too."

"Any boys I should be worried about?" Adonis asked

"No dad." She chuckled

"Good, you know how I feel about that. Graduate from college and you'll have all the time to date after that."

"After college dad? That's a long time." She said and he mugged her

"So what do you guys want to do for the rest of the day?" I asked

"Oou let's go shopping." Az rubbed her hands together

Adonis sighed "Unfortunately I have some things to handle today."

I scrunched up my face "Like?"

"Myself along with some of the men from the church are going to help sister Alice move into her new place."

"The church helped her get the place and now you have to move her in too? Can't someone else do that dad?" Azriel asked causing me to laugh to myself

My husband shot me a glare "Stuff like this is important. We have to take care of our own."

"Maybe I can drop The kids off at one of our parents and come with you?"
