           𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗜 𝗦𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗡 the student lounge angrily slamming a hand on her laptop. She had been trying to finish her English homework all morning but every once in a while her computer would completely shut down and she was getting frustrated.

            "Woah, what did that laptop ever do to you?" Sarah said sitting down in front of her friend.

                  "Not let me finish my English homework," Lorelei said angrily shutting her laptop giving up, and shoving it in her bookbag.

              "So, in better news how did your date go?" Sarah asked sitting up excitedly. Lorelei groaned, she knew this question was going to come up. "Come on, you have to tell me everything," 

                Lorelei sighed, "That's the thing there's nothing to tell. He was sweet — a little awkward but we saw a nerdy movie and he held my hand," 

"That's it?" Sarah raised an eyebrow. 

               "It's Ethan. I didn't really expect him to go in for a kiss when he walked me to my doorstep," Lorelei shrugged. Sure, the date sounded anticlimactic but it was sweet. She had never been out with a guy who felt so caring, who felt like he actually liked her.

               "But it was good? Right?" Sarah questioned. Lorelei nodded with a smile.

              Sarah clapped her hands, "And that's all that matters. Speaking of your future boyfriend I hear him and Benny are picking out weeds in the front lawn, and I kinda wanna see them suffer before I head to class," She said before standing up. 

              Lorelei followed with a laugh remembering how Ethan had texted her all about his detention sentence.

                 The two girls walked outside making their way to the two boys that were on their hands and knees in the grass.

"Hey guys," Sarah greeted. 

                "Glad someone is finally taking care of this mess," Lorelei added.

                 "Can I ask you guys a question? Do girls have like way more earwax than guys? Is it a puberty thing?" He asked them. The two girls looked at him in confusion.
