Slappy was shaking as everyone sat in the living room, giving disapproving looks at the children. Finally, Hannah hung up her phone and stepped forward to Stine, "Zach and Champ are on their way over." She reported. Stine nodded his head and confronted Sam and Kella.
"Well, what do you have to say for yourselves?" Stine demanded. Keilee crossed her arms and stood before the kids, "We told you NOT to enter the attic!" She bellowed. Sam sighed, "We're sorry."
"Sorry?!"
Everyone faces Slappy as he stands by the door, "Sorry doesn't fix what you two did," His voice cracked as the children gazed down at the ground in shame. Keilee stepped to her husband, "Slappy..." He shook her hand off his shoulder and whispered, "That is the same doll from my dreams, Keliee."
Slappy felt sick to his stomach, "Why did you do it?" He questioned. Sam stood up and folded his hands behind his back, "It was my idea," He began, "I am the one responsible and convinced Kella to sneak into the attic with me. We- I wanted to know what was in the metal chest. We heard you speaking about a book that Grandpa hid in there before you left next door." Sam studied the carpet, not wanting to see the disappointed look in his father's eyes.
"You eavesdropped on us?"
The boy nodded as Kella silently cried on the couch. Then, Stine marched up to the kids, "That book is dangerous, kids. And now Mary Ellen has it."

Meanwhile:
Mary Ellen and The Beast from the East arrived at an abandoned junkyard full of scrap metal and broken-down cars. "This will suffice for now," Mary Ellen jumped off the beast's back and strutted around the yard, "It's not a palace, but it will do." She drops the books in her arms on the ground and reads the titles, "Well, this book I will save for last." She snickered, holding the book with all the monsters trapped inside, "Yes, you will be the best for last!" Then, gazing at the other books, Mary Ellen lifted her hammer and smashed the locks one by one. Mary Ellen decided to wait until the proper time with the other book.

Back At Stine's House:
"What!?" Zach and Champ arrived at the house with shocked faces after Hannah explained what had happened. Slappy felt sick, "Not going to repeat ourselves..." He groaned. Keilee rubbed his shoulder and faced the boys, "We have to stop her before releasing the other monsters." Zach turns to Sam and Kella, "Why did you...?" Stine waved his hand, "Look, boys. We don't have time. If Mary Ellen did release them, I would still have to rewrite all of them in another book."
"Including the ones that were in the attic before?" Slappy put his chin under his hand, feeling a headache form, peering at his father. Stine sighed heavily, "I vaguely remember those books. So yes. If she didn't release them yet."
Champ buried his head in his hands, "Oh, god! Not again." Slappy rubbed his temples and groaned, "This is not my day..." Kella stepped up to her father and took his hand, "Daddy," She started up, "We are sorry. We didn't know any better, and we accept any of the consequences." Sam stood on the other side of Slappy and nodded his head, "Yeah, dad. We truly are..." Keilee stared at their children in surprise; they accepted the consequences, whatever the punishment. Slappy wrapped his arms around the two and rubbed their arms.
Stine cleared his throat, "We better get going." Everyone turned to him and nodded their heads. Slappy released Sam and Kella and followed Stine out of the house. Opening the car doors to Stine's new van, everyone piled in; Slappy in the passenger seat, Keilee, Hannah, the boys, and the kids in the back.
RING!
RING!
Stine pulled out his phone and handed it to Slappy, "Could you answer that for me?" Slappy took the phone and recognized the caller I.D, "Lorraine?"
"Oh, Slappy! Is Robert there?"
"He's driving right now. Everyone is heading to the school. What's wrong?"
"I saw a strange, purplish-blue creature run to an old scrap yard. A small figure was riding it."
Slappy turns to Stine, "Lorraine saw the Beast Of The East and Mary Ellen on its back." Stine side-glances at Slappy then the road, "Where?"
"An old scrap yard. Lorraine, what scrap yard?" Slappy turns his attention back to the phone.
"There are three next to each other. I didn't get a good look. It was heading northwards."
Slappy hummed, "Papa, Lorraine said it was heading northward. There are three scrap yards, but she didn't get a good look at where." With one hand on the wheel, Stine scratched his head in thought, "I think I know where that is. There are two locations in town that have three scrap yards next to each other. Tell Lorraine to be careful and meet us at the school."
"Lorraine, meet us at the school. And be careful."
"I am heading there now, Slappy."
Slappy hung up the phone and turned to Stine, "She's already heading to the school." Stine nodded his head in approval, "Good." Champ turned his head to the back window and gasped, "Uhh, guys?" Slappy had his eyes on the rearview mirror and frowned as a shadowy figure approached, "Papa?"

Moments before:
Mary Ellen released the Knight in Screaming Armor, Vannessa the Witch, The Masked Mutant, The Barking Ghosts, The Vampirilla, and Beast Of The East. Turning her attention to the witch, Mary Ellen grinned, "Let me see where Slappy is!" Vannessa lowered her hand to reveal a glass orb. An image of Slappy sitting in the passenger seat on the phone appeared in the sphere. Mary Ellen turned to the Knight in Screaming Armor, "Bring Slappy to me." She ordered. The Knight nodded his head and jumped on his black horse. Leaving the junkyard, the Knight pulled out his sword and galloped on the road to Stine's van.
------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone in the van turned their head to the back to see the shadowy figure appear, "IT'S THE KNIGHT IN SCREAMING ARMOR!" Champ shrieked. The Knight lifted his sword in the air, charging at them.
"Go faster!" Slappy yelled. Stine pressed the gas pedal to the floor as the Knight stood on his horse. The children whimpered in fright, watching the Knight leap off his horse. "Where did he go?!" Zach asked.
SLAM!
Without warning, a blade pierced through the car's roof, and metal fingers pulled the top back, revealing the Knight, "The Queen must have her King." It spoke, its voice sounding robotic and deep. Slappy paled and quickly ducked as the Knight swiped for his neck. The Knight growled and grabbed Slappy's collar. Keilee reached over and tried to pull the Knight off of Slappy.
"Hold on!" Stine yelled and began swerving the vehicle around, causing the Knight to lose balance on the roof. Keilee smacked the Knight in the face, making its helmet spin and blinding it for a moment. The Knight released Slappy and grabbed its helmet. Stine took that chance to swerve, and the Knight was thrown off the vehicle.
Slappy fixed his collar and glanced over his shoulder to see the Knight not moving, "That's one monster Mary Ellen released, besides the Beast." He turns his head to Stine to see him nod his head, "From what we know, yes."
