Agni's story ~kingo

purpose

okay so! agni lives in japan now haha spoiler alert, but the japanese will be in english because i can not speak japanese, her living in japan is critical to the story line

without agni all was quiet for the first few days
not a deviant in sight
brelione was never in the mood to make the sun shine
so it rained for days on end. missing the company of her polar opposite best friend
but this departure was needed to grow
they all knew they needed some sort of change, being stuck with the same select people for thousands of years was hard sometimes
brelione just wished it could've been someone else
druig told her time and time again how the one to leave should've been ikaris, but brelione shrug it off and continued on with her life

phastos worked night and day, more so than usual, but he could never get his inventions right
they were always missing
something
and he could never put his finger on it
since he refused to use fire that didn't come from agni herself, her fire didn't hurt people
he could never hurt people

druig was druig, he never really showed any emotion towards the subject, but brelione knew he was hurting, he just wouldn't show it.
thena and gilgamesh found comfort in each other, they'd tell stories of agni from years back, only to be stopped by makkari to tell them she isn't dead.
and ajak couldn't help but think it was her fault, and kingo telling her every time she opened her mouth didn't help either
sprite played the same illusion of her over and over
the one in the wedding dress
and couldn't help but hurt because the wedding dress sat alone in her closet

ikaris however wasn't phased
he walked around as he always would, but deep down he knew he drove her away.
could he really live with himself for driving her away?
he'd have to wouldn't he

but quickly as time moved on so did everyone else, and the sun began to shine again, and all was well
but kingo still thought about her, every moment he could
he loved her, he just realized
that he loved her
and then she was out of his grasp just like that

but he'd wait

he didn't know where she went, he didn't know if she was okay
but he knew he'd see her again
he'd always see her again
he knew he would
he knew she waited a thousand years
and he'd wait millions for her
he'd wait until the end of time to have her once more in his arms
he just hoped she'd wait for him

Agni, in all honesty, wanted to feel needed for her power, breaking rules.
she didn't know her departure from the eternals would soon break the rest apart.
she decided to reside in an advanced environmen, learning faster than the other country's, more technology, and ways of living.
so agni chose japan
she thought, maybe her fire would help them advance
so that she still was fulfilling what arishem wanted
because she was terrified of him, in a since

but also because, helping arishem is not betraying her friends

it took agni a while to make japan her home, but it worked out in years time.
they thought of her as a gift sent from their ancestors

agni laughed almost angelically as the children danced around the flame she made.
she had learned once again how to control her flames, meditating as the people around her in japan taught her too, it really brought her peace

"ms agni!" a woman yelled, running into the village of the island, looking distraught
"a monster, infront of the gates!" the woman put her hands on her knees, breathing heavily as she just ran as fast as she could
agni took her flames away, quickly making her way to the front gates

she expected to see a deviant
and once she made it to the front gates
she saw three
on each side of her
"get the children inside" agni said to a towns person, as the gates shut
but the deviant didn't attack a human
they stared at agni hungrily
she had no backup, no help
her meditation in japan taught her that violence was never the correct answer

so she closed her eyes
she trusted the earth to protect her
and as she placed her hand on the ground she picture brelione in-front of her

brelione stood infront of agni as the sat in the forest
'stay calm, breath in through your nose, out through your mouth'
agni did as told, holding her hands to the ground
she felt the heat flow through her body, flowing into the ground
she couldn't see brelione
so she couldn't speak to brelione
but as she closed her eyes, and breathed in the air
she sat in breliones domain
she sat in the middle of a forest listening to breliones creations
it's as if brelione was speaking directly to her

it was her own way to speak to brelione

slipping out of the state of mind she was in, she channeled the energy towards the three deviants whom she couldn't see
but could feel through the ground
and just as brelione had taught her in their training sessions

she channeled her powers energy to the three points in which the deviants stood
and then she let go
the burning sensation in her hand stopped, and the growl of the deviants silenced
clapping and cheering was heard
as if agni had won a game of some sort
she opened her eyes and was surrounded by the villagers
"thank you ms agni!" it was a small girl, she stood under agni with a smile
"you saved us" the girl hugged agnis legs

and agni found her purpose
her purpose
not arishems purpose for her
she finally had a mind of her own
and she would protect this village with all she had
forever
